Camp Ciyanjano

Camp Ciyanjano Ciyanjano, a ministry of ACTION Zambia, is a rural camping, conference, and retreat center outside Lusaka, Zambia. There is also an amphitheater with a stage.

It serves the needs of local urban churches as a place of renewal, retreat, and fellowship. The Ripley Center at Ciyanjano has a fully furnished house that sleeps 25 for retreats, conferences and trainings or church leadership or other people in full-time ministry. The campground at Ciyanjano has 5 camping chalets and one camp room totaling 96 beds, a large open air meeting place, playground, outdoor kitchen area, football pitch, and ablution block with cold water showers and toilets.

We're celebrating the graduation of our 6th Champs intake! God's faithfulness is truly inspiring. Congratulations to the Champs class of 2024 on their remarkable achievements! The Champs program empowers young leaders through the Navigators 2:7 material, outreach initiatives, and community service. Throughout their journey, they've committed over 30 memory verses to heart, learned to share the gospel with confidence, and developed their personal testimony. They've also led impactful outreach programs at local schools, churches, and community centers, including a transformative 3-night, 4-day camp for children. We're now seeking new Champs to join our vibrant community of young leaders!

Camp Ciyanjano has been serving the ministries of ACTION Zambia and hundreds of local churches since our official dedication in October 2011. Camp Ciyanjano also serves our youth discipleship program, the Ciyanjano Champs, who serve partner churches with evangelistic outreaches at community schools....

Greetings in the name of Jesus!
We want to let you know that since 1st April, 2020, Camp Ciyanjano is closed due to concerns about the ongoing COVID-19, Corona Virus.

In order to protect our staff, our community, and local churches, we are not currently making bookings or giving tours of Ciyanjano.

Lord willing, we will reopen as soon as we feel it is safe and we are given an all clear from the GRZ. If you have bookings for May or June, we will be in touch as we see how the situation changes. Please continue to pray for God’s continued mercy and protection for our nation and do your part by staying home and staying healthy.

Kids love libraries - I know my kids sure do and have had a great time at the library in Texas while we've been visiting grandparents. Do you love libraries and books??
