COMPLACENCY IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD BRINGS ABOUT DEATH!!
Isaiah 21:5 reads, “Look! They are preparing a great feast. They are spreading rugs for people to sit on. Everyone is eating and drinking. But quick! Grab your shields and prepare for battle. You are being attacked!”
All too often, Christians tend to neglect the need to be on fire for God. People tend to forget what God has done in the past, what he is doing, and what he is about to do. Remember the people of Israel, Remember the people who wanted to build the tower of Babel.
How can we be on fire for God?
1. By reading his word and meditating on it
2. By prayer
3. By fasting
4. By living a righteous life
5. By serving in his kingdom
How can we be complacent?
1. Not praying
2. Not reading his word
3. No attending church
4. Displaying fruits of the enemy (i.e. greed, pride, anger, un forgiveness, etc.)
Christianity is like a battleground and like a good warrior, you must prepare for it. A good Christian is like a watchman who watches over his family, friends, colleagues, church mates, leaders, the nation. The more you pray for others, the more blessings, grace, favor comes your way. If Jesus was complacent, he would going to allow the devil to succeed and prophecy wasn’t going to be fulfilled. We must have a Jesus Christ Character in order to attain victory in this journey called life. Avoid the wrath of God by being vigilant in all your works.
