Good morning beloved. How's September Storm going?

I'm always struck by the many takeaways from John 2. It's one of those chapters that just seem to be full of so much!
The third day, the wedding, Jesus' mother, Himself, His disciples, running out of wine, His hour not yet come but He does the miracle! Whatever He says, do! ‭‭

"But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men, and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man." 24‭-‬25‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

FASTING IN SEPTEMBER STORM

From Sunday 1st to Saturday 7th, the Fast runs concurrently with SEPTEMBER STORM.

From 8th to 30th, the rest of SEPTEMBER STORM continues.

Four Areas of Prayer

As we prepare for September Storm, we will pray "all kinds of prayer" (Ephesians 6:18). One useful tool is to remember the acronym ACTS. The following is something on ACTS by The Navigators.

ADORATION
This is the purest kind of prayer because it’s all for God. Tell the Lord that you love Him. Reflect on His greatness.

CONFESSION
"Confession” comes from a root word meaning “to agree together with.” When we apply this to prayer, it means we agree with God’s estimation of what we’ve done. Ask Him to cleanse you of your sin and help you turn from it moving forward.

THANKSGIVING
Think of several specific things to thank Him for your: family, school, business, church— even thank Him for being with you in hardship.

SUPPLICATION
This means to “ask for, earnestly and humbly.” Ask for others, then ask for yourself. Include people around the world, missionaries, friends, and those who have yet to hear about Jesus.

WHY PRAY TOGETHER?

1. Because God COMMANDS us to.
2. Because we CANNOT go through life in our OWN STRENGTH.
3. Because we NEED God.
4. Because that's the chief way of LEARNING TO PRAY.
5. Because we GROW in our prayer life.
6. Because we FELLOWSHIP with one another.
7. Because thereby we ENCOURAGE one another.
8. Because the MORE we pray together the more we BOND.
9. Because when we PRAY TOGETHER, we ALL GO THE SAME DIRECTION and are IN ONE ACCORD.
10. Because we are vessels that "LEAK" and need CONSTANT REFILLING.
