Welcome to THE WAY Afternoon of Worship at UCZ St. Matthews Congregation, Olympia – Lusaka.

An afternoon set apart to encounter God through heartfelt praise, sincere worship, and the ministry of His presence. As we lift our voices and surrender our hearts, may we be reminded that worship is not merely what we do, but a way of life—a journey of knowing God more deeply and walking faithfully in His ways.

In The Year of Open Doors, may this time of worship awaken our spirits, renew our devotion, and draw us closer to the One who leads us into His purpose. May every song be an expression of gratitude, every moment a declaration of faith, and every heart a dwelling place for His presence.

SCRIPTURE FOCUS:

📖 John 14:6
📖 Psalm 95:1–7
📖 Romans 12:1

KEY VERSE:

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” — John 14:6

May we never lose sight of the Way, and may our worship continually lead us into a deeper relationship with Christ.

Welcome to our Sunday Church Service at UCZ St. Matthews Congregation, Olympia – Lusaka, as we gather in worship, fellowship, and thanksgiving in the presence of God.

Today, we observe Holy Communion and Presbytery Sunday, a special time to reflect on the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ, renew our commitment to Him, and celebrate the unity of the Church across our Presbytery.

As we partake in the Lord’s Table, we are reminded of the grace that redeemed us, the love that unites us, and the hope we have through Christ. May this service strengthen our faith, deepen our fellowship, and inspire us to live as one body, faithfully serving God and one another.

In the Year of Open Doors, may we remain rooted in Christ, recognising that every open door is an opportunity to grow in faith, serve with love, and proclaim the goodness of God.

SCRIPTURE FOCUS:
📖 1 Corinthians 11:23–26
📖 Ephesians 4:3–6
📖 John 6:35

KEY VERSE:
“For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.” — 1 Corinthians 11:26

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit remain with us all.

Welcome to our Sunday Church Service at UCZ St. Matthews Congregation, Olympia – Lusaka, as we gather in worship, fellowship, and the Word of God.

Our message today is “WHEN GOD RULES,” delivered by Rev. Alinani Chitalu. When God rules, our lives, our decisions, our families, and our circumstances are brought under His authority. His rule brings order where there is confusion, hope where there is despair, and purpose where there is uncertainty.

As we continue in **The Year of Open Doors**, may we remember that the greatest door we can walk through is a life fully surrendered to the reign and will of God. May His Kingdom rule in our hearts and His presence guide every step we take.

SCRIPTURE FOCUS:
📖 Psalm 46:1–2
📖 Revelation 21:4–7

KEY VERSE:
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

May this message strengthen your faith and remind you that when God rules, we can trust Him—even when circumstances around us seem uncertain.

Some questions are not meant to be answered with words, but with a life surrendered to God.

“What shall I give to the Lord for all His goodness to me?”

A question of gratitude.
A question of worship.
A question of surrender.

We gathered as a church to reflect on God's faithfulness and to consider what we can offer back to the One who has given us everything. May our lives, our gifts, our resources, and our service become an offering that brings glory to God.
