REPENT TO THE COVENANT OF AHAB (LOVE).......
DO WE "REPENT" OF OBEYING THE TORAH,
OR "REPENT" OF DISOBEYING THE TORAH?
WHAT WOULD YAHUSHA TELL YOU?
MANY BELIEVE THE COVENANT GIVEN TO ISRAEL HAS BEEN DONE AWAY WITH.
"No one who lives in Him keeps on sinning (against His Torah)." (see 1 John/Yahuchanon 3:4-6)
Another way of putting that is,
"No one who lives in Him keeps on disobeying His Torah." The core message of the Messiah of Israel is:
=Repent, for the reign of Yahuah draws near!=
=âIn the past (Elohim) overlooked such ignorance, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent. For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the man He has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising Him from the dead." Acts 17:29-31 =
===Letâs look at how REPENTANCE is spoken of in the Word of Yahuah ===
REPENT is English for the Hebrew word âSHUBâ or SHUBAHâ,
Often written âTESHUBAHâ and means:
turn back, turn around, return -- referring to one returning to the Covenant.
The Covenant (TORAH, teaching) CONVICTS us of our sin, defining how we have transgressed the will of Yahuah.
Entering the Covenant makes us fellow citizens of ISRAEL (Eph. 2:8-13).
1 Yn. 3:4 gives us a brief definition of what âsinâ is:
Examining the core meaning of this sentence, it resides in only three of the words: âSin is anomiaâ, or
transgression is lawlessness.
KJV:
1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
The Scriptures (ISR):
1Jn 3:4 Everyone doing sin also does lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
NIV:
1 John 3:4: Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.
The Greek word (G #4160) POIEO is translated in the KJV âcommittethâ; and in the ISR version, âdoingâ.
The NIV renders this word as âbreaksâ, based upon the concept of casting off, purging, exercising or ordaining âANOMIAâ (lawlessness).
From a close study of the text, it should read,
1 Yahuchanon 3:4: âEveryone exercising sin exercises lawlessness (anomia); sin is lawlessness (anomia)."
The Greek word âPOIEOâ is used twice in the sentence, yet is rendered âdoingâ (ISR) or âcommittethâ (KJV); while a clearer way of saying it is with the word âexercisesâ. By saying âEveryone who sins breaks the Torahâ, we are really paraphrasing. The word âANOMIAâ is the word NOMIA (law, Torah), with the prefix âAâ, meaning âagainstâ or âwithoutâ. The meaning is still the same, however it is always best to keep the text as pure and clear as we can possibly keep it. The next part of the text follows here:
1 Yn. 3:5,6: "But you know that He appeared so that He might take away our sins. And in Him is no sin. No one who lives in Him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen Him or known Him.â
The "mind" of the Spirit means "from the point of view" of the Spirit -- they are looking at things from their point of view, not His. The fleshly point of view, or the MIND of the flesh, does not wish to be controlled by anything but its own rebellious nature:
Rom 8:5-9
Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to (Yahuah). It does not submit to (Yahuah's) law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please (Yahuah).
You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of (Yahuah) lives in you."To have the Spirit of Yahuah living in you, you must first OBEY:
Acts 5:32 We are witnesses of these things, and so is the (set-apart) Spirit, whom (Elohim) has given to those who '''''obey Him."
Repenting (returning) - or not repenting to the Torah will determine everyoneâs eternity.

Note: False teachers don't want you to observe the original Sabbath day, but they insist on you "tithing" 10% to them, observing what they call "an old testament law". They claim the Sabbath is just "OLD TESTAMENT" -- but they miraculously spare and endorse tithing, leaving the sign of the eternal Covenant behind! (Sabbath is the sign of the eternal Covenant, yet it must be lower in importance than tithing). When they claim the Sabbath is not binding, ask them why tithing is still expected and the Sabbath-rest is not. (Hebrews 4 states that the Sabbath-rest remains for Yahuah's people).
Every time we meet together, come in, go out, rise up, lie down, sit in our home, or walk along the way, we are told to speak of Yahuahâs Torah, and write them on our doorposts and our gates:
THIS IS THE âWAYâ:
The Covenant /Marriage Contract (BRITH) 'Ex 20:1-17
ASERETH HAâDABARIM (10 WORDS) Yahuahâs Covenant, our wedding vows:
LITERAL TRANSLATION:
âAnd Elohim spoke all these Words:
1. âI am Yahuah your Elohim, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
You shall have no other elohim before My face.
2. You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the Earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, Yahuah your Elohim, am a jealous Elohim, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments.
3. You shall not cast the Name of Yahuah your Elohim to ruin, for Yahuah will not hold anyone guiltless who casts His Name to ruin.
4. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it qodesh.
Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahuah your Elohim.
On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. For in six days Yahuah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and He rested on the seventh day.
Therefore Yahuah blessed the Sabbath day and made it qodesh.
5. Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land Yahuah your Elohim is giving you.
6. You shall not murder.
7. You shall not adulterate.
8. You shall not steal.
9. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
10. You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.â
The "mind" of the Spirit means "from the point of view" of the Spirit -- they are looking at things from their point of view, not His. The fleshly point of view, or the MIND of the flesh, does not wish to be controlled by anything but its own rebellious nature:
Rom 8:5-9

The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to (Yahuah). It does not submit to (Yahuah's) law, nor can it do so. Acts 5:32 We are witnesses of these things, and so is the (set-apart) Spirit, whom (Elohim) has given to those who '''''obey Him."
Repenting (returning) - or not repenting to the Torah will determine everyoneâs eternity.
We will either be redeemed, or we will literally burst into flames on the last day.
The coming of Yahusha at the end of the âGreat Tribulationâ or âGreat Distressâ is the day of our redemption, but the day of burning for the lost.
Yahusha will only redeem those in His Covenant, ~ and lay-waste those not in His Covenant with consuming fire.
As Kepha/Peter tells us, the ELEMENTS will burn:
2 Peter 3:9-17:
âYahuah is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness.
He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
But the day of Yahuah will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.
Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live qodesh and pious lives as you look forward to the day of Yahuah and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with His promise we are looking forward to a renewed heaven and a renewed Earth, the home of righteousness.
So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with Him. Bear in mind that our Masterâs patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that Yahuah gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position.â
