NO ONE SHOULD DISCOURAGE YOU
Main Scripture: 1 Samuel 30:6
“But David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.”
There will be moments in life when people will say things that make you want to give up. Some will doubt you, criticize you, reject you, or remind you of your past.
But you must not allow the voice of people to become louder than the voice of God.
Your journey was not designed by people, and your destiny is not controlled by people.
No one should discourage you!
PEOPLE MAY DISCOURAGE YOU, BUT GOD CAN ENCOURAGE YOU
David reached a painful moment in Ziklag. His city had been destroyed, his family had been taken, and even the people who were with him wanted to stone him.
But David did something powerful:
He encouraged himself in the LORD.
Sometimes you will not find encouragement from people around you. You have to return to God's Word and remember what He said.
People may say, “It is impossible.”
God may say, “I am with you.”
Listen to God's voice.
