Apostle's service in KALIKILIKI
Today we were so blessed to be visited by our dear Apostle at Kalikiliki Congratulations.
He read the text word from
2 Peter 1:1
19 "We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts"
Summary:
The Apostle explained that darkness is a place where our bad human activities and thoughts of the flesh are found. When Adam and Eve sinned, they went to hide in dark places.
- He also said that those who live in dark places depend on their own strength and intellect or knowledge.
- The Lord our God said; until He sent the redeemer who will redeem you from the dark places only then shall the light of God shine upon you. God's light shines in the dark places and His promises are meant to remove mankind from darkness. The Apostle explained that it is sad that today people are using the name of Jesus for their personal gain for riches.
He encouraged the congregation to ;
-believe in Jesus
- have faith in God
The word of God is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. When we come to God, we shall experience the activity of His light through the holy spirit. Today when you hear His word, do not harden your heart.
Yes you must all believe in holy baptism, holy sealing/spirit and in holy communion. We must all believe in the activity of the fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ. We will all do well to remain in this fellowship and share our gifts with all. Jesus Christ shall rise to us like a morning star on the day of His return.
