Scripture reading
✓Hebrews 10:24-25.

- The Church is a company of those God has chosen for Himself, having brought by the blood of his dear son Jesus Christ. ( Acts 20:28)

- We must know that we are members of the body of Christ through the blood of Jesus Christ which is the new and eternal covenant.

• You can only be identified as a believer by identifying yourself with the local church.

- The local church provides you the platform to grow in your walk with Christ.

• It creates an atmosphere to discover your spiritual gifts and function in them.

• It provides spiritual protection from the attacks of the enemy. ( Matthew 16:18)

• You partake in the works and grace of the local church.

Been part of the local church involves:

1) Obedience to Christ's control and recognition in practice of the relationships we have towards other members of the fellowship, this includes caring for one another and submitting to necessary discipline

2) We live to demonstrate God's love who has been shed abound in our hearts (Acts 2:42-43)

3) We enjoy participating and supporting the works of the local church by been available when need be.

4) There's a kind of physical and spiritual upliftment in been part of the household of believers.

5) It gives you a sense of belonging to a family of like minded people.
