Discipleship beyond Information
By Bishop Ackwell Mbalamweshi
19.04.2026

We are in the month of supernatural provision through faith and vision.

Matthew 17:27
Nevertheless, lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you.”

This is not witchcraft, coincidence, or Artificial intelligence, but supernatural provision. It is provision that is beyond formal, scientific, or human comprehension.

“Supernatural provision is not just money or wealth, it is holistic and encompasses every aspect of life.”

Mark 4:39
Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.

However, most of the provisions have been locked due to ignorance, evil forces, lack of faith and failure to take our discipleship beyond information, among others.

Matthew 11:4-5
Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

This is the full package of supernatural provision, the holistic approach of the gospel of the kingdom.

“This package is risky, provocative, and offensive because it interrupts or disturbs systems, traditions, and religion.”

God has balanced every aspect of our lives through the holistic approach of the gospel.

The reason we are not experiencing, living, or seeing fruit from what we are learning is because we lack discipleship beyond information.

“Discipleship must be beyond information, it must be about authority, governance, and execution.”

We must know where we are drawing power. The sons of Sceva tried to operate on information whose source of power or authority they had no link or connection.

Acts 19:11-16
Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them. Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.” Also, there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?” Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

“The authority we are supposed to operate in, is because we are plugged to the one who has delegated the power or authority on us.”

The life we live is very spiritual, it is not as physical as we think. Discipleship must go beyond information.

Matthew 4:19
Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.

When making something, there is a lot of skill [expertise], time, effort, sacrifice, and material involved.

“Jesus was not calling them to a classroom, course, sermon, or inspirational teaching, but into a covenant relationship.”

It is the covenantal relationship that makes us operate and unlock supernatural provisions. Get into a covenantal relationship with God and His kingdom.

Discipleship is not casual, optional, or observational.

The kingdom of God is a government, and we need faith to follow its policies lest we bring disaster, “We cannot govern or rule if we are casual.”

Discipleship is covenantal, authority, and relational. We cannot disciple someone who is not willingly giving himself.

While Jesus attracted crowds, not everybody was discipled except those that were willing. Most of the people in the crowds were either admirers or mere listeners.

In marriage, a covenant means death to independent living and is binding till death. However, this is not the case in a covenantal relationship because even after death, the covenant is still binding.

A contract is transactional, conditional, and revocable while a covenant is relational, binding, sacrificial, and lifelong.

“Unless we understand, we shall not be fruitful, multiply, and dominate.”

A covenant always involves authority and alignment. It encompasses mutual obligation, faithfulness over convenience, and life sharing and not service consumption.

When you are plugged into such a covenantal relationship, nothing will resist you.

“When God interacted with humanity, covenants were established such as the Noahic, Abrahamic, Mosaic, Davidic, and others.”

Today, in the New Testament, God has established His covenant through Jesus Christ who is saying, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Such authority is not casual, it is a covenant governed by the power of the Holy Spirit and discipleship beyond information.

The Nature of God
By Deacon Justine Mazimba
15.04.2026

“It is always good and a great honor to be in the house of the Lord,” Praise be to God.

There are certain attributes or characteristics that bring out the nature of God or who God is. Such attributes are visible to his children.

When people see you, they must see the Father in you, “People must see God in you to identify you as a child or son of God.”

Therefore, our nature must only represent God, because we cannot serve two masters at the same time.

“Yesterday I was resembling the nature of the green family, today I am exhibiting the nature of the blue family, and tomorrow I represent the image of the red family,” This is not possible as a child of God.

Many are the times that we deceive ourselves by trying to portray a certain image to make ourselves look like God, when we are not.

The true nature is who we are behind the closed doors. Sometimes, situations will define who we are, whether children of God or otherwise.

“So, the established our relationships are sound with God, the more the character or nature of God is reveled in us.”

The first nature of God is love.

1 John 4:7-8
Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

God is love and love gives.

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

What we receive is the product or result of the love of God.

Everyone who loves is born of God. Are we expressing the love of God in our lives and to others?

“God’s love is not conditional, it is unconditional. In the midst of hatred, God shows love.”

God is love, if I am a son or child of God, I must love too.
Secondly, the nature of God is that He is light.

1 John 1:5
This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all.

We do not need to hide, God is light and because we bear his nature, we are the light of the world.

“Because we are the light, people will see God in us.”
The third nature of God is holiness.

Isaiah 6:3
They were calling out to each other, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies! The whole earth is filled with his glory!”

Fourthly, the nature of God is life.

John 5:26
The Father has life in himself, and he has granted that same life-giving power to his Son.

God is life, when we receive God, we receive life.

“We cannot consistently manifest his nature unless we are fully transformed and submitted to God.”

The definition of God’s nature is not what he is able to do or what we are able to do, it is love, light, righteousness, and life.

The nature of God must be activated in us for us to walk in the manifestation of the sons of God.

Why is it so difficult to have the nature of God?

Salvation without transformation

Most have received the word, been cut to the heart, repented, and received Jesus as Lord and savior, but have not allowed the word to transform them.

The Israelites are one such characters, it took them time to transform for them to enter the promised land.

Transformation requires growth. We must be intentional for us to grow, it will not just come, we must decide.

“We have to be intentional to grow in order to bring transformation in our lives.”

Knowledge without encounter

We have become too religious, knowing scripture but without impact. It is very difficult to serve God with saved souls that are not transformed.

2 Corinthians 3:18
So, all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.

Failure to renew our minds

The renewal of the mind is very essential or critical to manifest the nature of God.

"As a man thinketh in his heart so is he.” We are a product of our thoughts.

God is excellent and therefore we are children of excellency. When God speaks, it is done, so let us examine how to renew our minds.
