NOVEMBER RHEMA
What a service this was! 💃🕺
The man of God, Pastor Jack Siame, shared God’s word with so much grace. He showed us that God’s desire for His people is to live in ever-increasing glory.
He explained that when Moses asked to see God’s glory in Exodus 33:18–19, God revealed that His glory is the manifestation of His goodness, grace, mercy, and authority.
Pastor said the Hebrew word “Kabod” and the Greek word “Doxa” both mean great honour, praise or distinction, majestic beauty, splendour, resplendence, the bliss and splendor of heaven, perfect happiness, enjoyment and prosperity, showing that glory is the weight of God’s presence and excellence revealed in a person’s life.
He told the congregation that Haggai 2:9 “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former” is not a word for some future time but a word for now. Pastor emphasized that when the prophet said “this latter house,” he was referring to the present house, meaning whatever we are building now, whether it’s the house of God or their lives, families, or careers, God intends it to be filled with greater glory than before.
He went on to teach that there are different kinds and levels of glory. Referring to 2 Corinthians 3:18 and 1 Corinthians 15:39–41, he said not all glory is the same and that God’s children are called to move from glory to glory. Pastor Jack declared that God’s plan is for each man in Christ to keep rising higher in life, success, and spiritual influence.
He reminded the church that they are God’s temple, and everything they do is like a house being built for Him. Quoting Psalm 127:1, he said that unless the Lord builds the house, those who labour, labour in vain. Therefore, every Christian must let God be the builder and source of their increase.
Pastor Jack then proclaimed that the time for increase is now. Referring to Job 8:7, he said that even if one’s beginning was small, their latter end should greatly increase. He admonised us not to settle at one level, saying, as God told Israel in Deuteronomy 1:6, “You have dwelt long enough on this mountain.” He explained that we must break camp and move into higher realms of glory and achievement.
He further quoted Joshua 18:3 and Joshua 14:10–11, urging us not to delay but to take possession of new territories, new cities, campuses, and opportunities, for the Gospel. He declared that there is still much land to possess and that the month of November will be for us our month of greater glory.
In closing, Pastor taught us how to step into this glory from one level to another. He said it happens through:
1. Meditation on the Word (2 Corinthians 3:18).
2. Prayer (Luke 9:29).
3. Taking action (Proverbs 4:18).
He concluded the service by declaring that this is our time of greater glory, when will attain higher heights and experience new and greater levels of all that glory entails.
He also led us to pray for the salvation of souls in our nations and the nations of the world.
After the heartfelt prayer session. He took time to encourage the brethren to take part in the Gedullāh project - a project to reach 10, 000 souls with the Gospel through Grace & Truth.
Testimonies were received from those who headed mission teams to different cities and the outreaches they had last month. We could not but celebrate how souls were won in Lusaka, Kitwe, Ndola, Choma, Mazabuka, and Livingston.
Pastor urged us to move forward and reach more territories in this month of Greater glory.
Special thanks was given to everyone who sponsored copies for free distribution, and to everyone who participated in the outreaches.
Pastor encouraged everyone to give towards the success of this cause, and instructed that we organize outreaches everywhere, even at our places of work. He said "have lunch hour outreaches. Instead of spending your entire lunch hour time eating, share the Gospel with someone. If you can share the Gospel with 5 per day, by the end of the month you'd have shared with a 100."
..
It's always riveting to hear the word at Kalos Christian Church, and experience all that God is doing here. We are so blessed. Wow!
