Happy New Year, beloved members of God's Preachers International!

In 2024, may the divine Theme of Restoration and Favour guide our journey.

Let's embrace Psalm 23:3, "He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake," trusting in God's unwavering promise.

As we embark on this year, let Proverbs 3:4-5 be our beacon: "So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding."

Together, let's witness the unfolding of His blessings and the manifestation of His favour. 🙏

Sermon Title: Groomed For The Season

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Today, I am here to share with you a message titled "Groomed For The Season." Just as trees are pruned and groomed to bear abundant fruit, we, too, are carefully shaped and prepared by God for the seasons of our lives.

Main Scripture: Isaiah 61:3 (NIV)
"...to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor."

I. Groomed Through Challenges

Scripture: James 1:2-4 (NIV)
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

In the midst of life's challenges, God is grooming us. He uses difficulties to strengthen our faith and mold our character, preparing us for the season of victory that lies ahead.

II. Groomed for Divine Purpose

Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

God has groomed each one of us with a purpose in mind. He has intricately designed our talents, passions, and gifts, equipping us for the specific tasks He has prepared for us. We are groomed to make a difference in this world for His glory.

III. Groomed to Bear Fruit

Scripture: John 15:5 (NIV)
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing."

Through God's careful grooming, we are empowered to bear fruit in abundance. Just as a well-tended vine yields sweet grapes, we, too, can produce love, kindness, and goodness when we remain rooted in God's love and grace.

Most importantly, Dear friends, let us embrace the truth that we are groomed for the season. Regardless of the challenges we face, the divine purpose within us, and the fruitfulness we are called to, God is at work, shaping us into vessels of His glory. Let us yield to His grooming process, trusting that He who began a good work in us will carry it to completion. May we, as groomed and prepared individuals, shine brightly in the season He has ordained for us.

Amen

Title: Embracing a New Month with Hope and Gratitude

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

As we begin this new month, let us take a moment to reflect on the blessings that the Lord has bestowed upon us. Despite the challenges and uncertainties of the past month, God has been faithful to us and has given us the strength to persevere.

Let us embrace this new month with hope and gratitude, knowing that God has a purpose for each and every one of us. Let us trust in His plans for our lives and seek His guidance as we journey forward.

In Proverbs 16:9, we read, "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps." This verse reminds us that while we may have our own plans and goals, ultimately it is God who directs our paths.

As we look ahead to this new month, let us seek the Lord's guidance and ask Him to help us align our plans with His will. Let us trust that He has great things in store for us, even if we cannot see them yet.

However, let us cultivate an attitude of gratitude. Let us give thanks for the blessings of the past month and for the opportunities that this new month brings. Let us approach each day with a spirit of thankfulness, knowing that every good and perfect gift comes from our Heavenly Father.

May God bless you abundantly in this new month, and may His love and grace fill your hearts today and always.

Amen.

The arrival of a new year brings a great opportunity to renew our faith and love for God and Jesus. It's also a wonderful time to renew the joy of salvation in our hearts, as a new creation in Christ. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come" (2 Corinthians 5:17).

2. Are you an impact player?
-Opening Scripture-
“But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land.” —Numbers 14:24, NIV

In football, certain players are designated as impact players. They are players who make a difference in a big way. They are outstanding, enabling their team to be more effective. They are very focused on their mission. They are on the field to make a difference. They want to win, and they give everything they have to accomplish their goal.
Caleb, one of the spies sent to spy out the Promised Land, was an impact player. The Bible tells us he was a man of a different spirit who wholeheartedly followed the Lord. He was not a lukewarm, indifferent, casual believer. He believed that God could do anything through him. He was on a mission. Because he gave a favorable report based on his faith in God, Caleb was one of the few of his generation whom God allowed to enter the Promised Land.
You and I have the same opportunity to be impact players on the Lord’s Great Commission team. Our lives can echo into eternity when we bring ourselves into harmony with God’s great plan. We are encouraged to be a Caleb, a person who follows the Lord wholeheartedly. Are you an impact player on God’s team?

:
In what ways am I currently an impact player on God’s team?

ENJOYING A LIFE THAT ECHOES INTO ETERNITY
1.
-Opening Scripture-
“You must actively help the hungry and feed the oppressed. Then your light will dispel the darkness, and your darkness will be transformed into noonday. The Lord will continually lead you; he will feed you even in parched regions. He will give you renewed strength, and you will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring that continually produces water.” —Isaiah 58:10–1

Living a fulfilled life is the desire of every human being. Many of us attempt to find life in the wrong way, in the wrong places, and in following the wrong pursuits. And the result is unhappiness.
The best antidote for fighting depression, anxiety, fear, and other negative emotions that can cripple us, is to discover what we have been designed for, and to use ourselves in conformance to our design. In some way it is important that we help meet the needs of other people, spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally.
We have been designed for eternity. God has a purpose for us, and we need to discover what that is as we cultivate our relationship with him. When we serve his purposes according to his plan, we place ourselves in a position to experience his favor and blessing.
In today’s passage, we see God desires that we help to meet the needs of others. We have the promise of his guidance and blessing: “A generous person will be enriched, and the one who provides waterfor otherswill himself be satisfied” (Proverbs 11:25). I love the picture of being a well-watered garden and a spring with waters that never fail.
God alone is our Provider. He is waiting for us to share his provision with others.

:
In what ways am I using what God has blessed me with to serve his kingdom?

Look For This One Thing In Your Life Partner

How they talk. The tongue is the mirror of the heart. Words reveal a person.

If they raise their voice when upset, they are abusive and toxic. If they are full of themselves and can’t say sorry, they are narcists. If they keep on complaining, they’re emotionally unstable.

If they are always introducing stories of who slept with who, run for your life. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. An immoral person is only excited by immorality.

If they ask you for money and gifts in your first or second date, they are gold diggers. If they gossip their eX, they’ll talk ill of you. If they use vulgar language, they’ll eventually call you names.

If the only subject that excites them is about work and business, they’ll neglect family. No matter how ambitious one may be, real people relax over light moments – it can’t be business all the time.

If they associate every blessing they have with God, they are humble and God-fearing. God fearing people give God the glory for all their achievements. Proud people call themselves self-made.
