Imagine attending a high-level board meeting where the manager is speaking, and you decide to scroll through Facebook or start eating a meal. In the natural world, this is a sign of deep disrespect. Why, then, do we think it is acceptable in the presence of God?

๐๐ซ๐š๐ฒ๐ž๐ซ ๐ซ๐ž๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ ๐จ๐ซ๐๐ž๐ซ, ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง.

If your mind is on your phone while your body is in the prayer closet, you are not praying you are just occupying space.

If a prayer point is given during a session of intercession at church e.g. let us pray for families and you choose to worship in a song, you are not being "more spiritual" you are breaking order. God does not lead from two conflicting directions in the same session. When the body moves together, the power is multiplied.

The effectiveness of prayer is not necessary in the longevity, the loudness or the repetition of the Prayer but rather in the INTENSE RELATIONSHIP and FAITH in God.

Before you beat hours, make sure you and God understand each other's RELATIONSHIP.

the Lord Jesus Christ said,
Matthew 6:9
[9]After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Right here, he showed us how that as you pray, take it as a relationship. If you call God father, then you must be a son.
a son not just by words but in deeds and sincerity.

Must I say, it is nice praying for long hours when you share a deep relationship with God, but it's burdensome when no relationship exists.

Most people who even pray intensely don't brag about how many hours they pray, because the focus is not hours but a relationship with God.

this week, work on developing a relationship with God.

When prayer fades, gaps begin to appear in your spiritual walk. But when you remain consistent in prayer, you build strength against temptation and stay aligned with God.

The discipline of prayer keeps you from falling into temptation and shields you from the enemyโ€™s influence.

The prayers of others are not enough, you must pray for yourself.

To every believer:

๐Ÿ™ Prayer should be personal.
๐Ÿ™ Prayer should be intentional.
๐Ÿ™ Prayer requires discipline.

Because God looks at the condition of your heart, not just your words.
So you need to pray with sincerity, free from jealousy or comparison.

๐Ÿ“– James 5:16 reminds us that effective prayer comes from a righteous and sincere heart.

๐Ÿšซ ๐€๐ฏ๐จ๐ข๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐ฉ๐ซ๐š๐ฒ๐ž๐ซ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐œ๐ก:

Facebooking ,eating or being absent minded in prayer.

Don't treat prayer casually but give God your full attention and reverence the same way you give other things e.g your CEO or a business deal .

๐Ÿ’ก ๐Š๐ž๐ฒ ๐“๐ซ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก:

Itโ€™s not about how long you pray, but how genuine and connected you are with God.
Some pray for hours. Others for minutes.
But true power comes from intimacy, not duration.

So never should you ever downgrade someone's prayer just because you pray for long hrs for that is never the measure of how deep you are .
