Good afternoon parents and everyone in the group,
We, as Great Hope Community School, would like to acknowledge the concern raised by a parent regarding information shared on social media. We appreciate your feedback and would like to clarify a few important points.
Firstly, a community school is different from a private school.
Community schools are designed to provide education at a much lower cost, in line with what the government allows, so that more children can access learning.
Secondly, our school is open to all children, especially orphans, the less privileged, and vulnerable children in our community. Our goal is to ensure that no child is denied education due to financial challenges.
In addition, we are working towards introducing skills training programs for youths, women, and other community members, to empower them for a better future.
As earlier mentioned by our Bishop, fees in private schools are generally higher, which makes it difficult for some families.
That is why our management is committed to supporting children who may not be able to afford such costs.
