LIFE IN BLOOD OF JESUS

“Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.”
(John‬ ‭6‬:‭53‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

Men of the flesh describe life by the ability of the human heart to pump blood and the functioning of the respiratory system. That is all fine but real life is in Jesus Christ, who gives life beyond the grave, “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” (John‬ ‭11‬:‭25‬-‭26‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

The life of God has greater significance because of the nature of how that life of God has been imputed to Believers. It was birthed after a mighty deliverance occasioned by Jesus Christ’s vicarious death at Calvary’s Cross. You see, according to the Law of Moses, every soul that sins must die, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭23‬ ‭KJV‬‬). In this last citation are two extremes. Sin kills and the justification by Jesus Christ gives life. This justification comes because Jesus paid the sin debt by death which death cannot happen except blood is lost. Jesus lost blood as an atoning sacrifice.

The significance of blood here, however, is that it was not ordinary blood but the blood of a sinless Lamb:

“For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”
(Hebrews‬ ‭9‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

Now life is in the blood, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.” (Leviticus‬ ‭17‬:‭11‬ ‭KJV‬‬). Though man had sinned, the ultimate atonement for those that believe in Jesus is His sacrifice at Calvary’s Cross. Therefore, man who has believed and has come into oneness with God may also partake of Holy Communion and have the Blood of Christ run through them. In this way, as Jesus Christ’s atoning sacrifice is without blemish or spot of corruption, so should lives of Believers not be subject to the rudimentary corruption of life in the flesh. They rule and reign with Christ in Heavenly Places.

I admonish you to be in right standing wth Jesus Christ and partake of His Blood that you may have the very life of God. Therein lies capacity and power for exploits.

May you receive the life of God in your spirit that you may live above the flesh and its limitations in Jesus Christ’s Name. Amen!

1. THE FOUNDATION: FELLOWSHIP

Many of us in this Church have deeply neglected the act and the respect of fellowship. Every Church you ever know has its primary foundation on a cell meeting, fellowship of the saints in the house. Hallelujah!

Giving excuse as to why you don't go for cell meetings because you always go to Church is the missing link to your breakthrough, your healing and deliverance.

2. SALVATION = TRANSFORMATION + OBEDIENCE

There are two things that happen the moment you give your life back to Christ:
First is the transformation and transplanting from darkness to light, and secondly it is the ability to obey the instructions in righteousness. Glory to God!

3. FAITH IS THE LINK

No matter how far you go, traveling from one city to the other just to meet the most anointed men and women of God, you might still miss the link and not find your breakthrough unless you are walking in faith because it's only faith that pleases God.

4. INSTRUCTIONS + MEDITATION = REVELATION

In Joshua 6 God told Israel to go round Jericho seven times for seven days. Many people today have shouted before going round, before the given time and things did not change. It is because of failure to abide by the instructions and lack of meditation that your life remains stagnant.

In Joshua 1:8... this book of the law should not depart from your mouth, you shall meditate on it day and night and do all that is written in it so that you prosper. Hallelujah!

Meditation is the envelope and womb of revelations. Glory to God!

5. THE 3 PILLARS THAT HOLD THE CHURCH

There are three things that hold up the body of Christ, the house of Prayer, Evangelism and Fellowship. Because every Church is built up on the foundation of the Word of God. Anything contrary to that is not Godly.

When I say the missing link, I'm specifically talking about our Very Own Church here. There's a missing link to how we worship, how we serve and how we fellowship. And as a result we're unable to do Exploits and Make Every Second Count in the house of God and our lives in general. God has not forgotten us. Let us draw near to Him and He will draw near to us. Praise Jesus!

THE CHARGE:
The breakthrough is not in running around.
The breakthrough is in OBEYING THE INSTRUCTIONS, WALKING IN FAITH and BEING FAITHFUL IN FELLOWSHIP.

Go round first. Meditate first. Then shout.

Godly Love Abides in The Heart

WE ARE ONLY COMPLETE IN GOD

“for in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.” (Acts‬ ‭17‬:‭28‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

Our lives are incomplete on this earth but we have confidence as Believers that we are hid with Christ in God. All our true achievements are by God’s Grace. Our being alive is a product of God’s grace,

“If it had not been the Lord who was on our side,” Let Israel now say, “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side When men rose up against us, Then they would have [quickly] swallowed us alive, When their wrath was kindled against us; Then the waters would have engulfed us, The torrent would have swept over our soul; Then the raging waters would have swept over our soul.” ¶Blessed be the Lord, Who has not given us as prey to be torn by their teeth.” )Psalms‬ ‭124‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭AMP‬‬).

THE BOND OF PEACE AND UNITY

“with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” (Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

In so far as we live in these earthy vessels, the flesh, it is impossible to be perfectly aligned in opinions. We are bound to disagree but that is life. However, God’s Counsel declares:

“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” (Eph‬ ‭4‬:‭26‬-‭29‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

We must submit ourselves to be guided by God’s infallible Spirit. If we allow Him to dwell in us, He shall sanctify us into being one with His Holy Spirit; “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭17‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

Brethren, let us influence positive thoughts and promote the bond of peace, love and unity at a micro family level, organizational level and at national level. We can only see meaningful development and economic progress when there is peace. Let us remain humble and be peacemakers. It is the least we can do in our communities.

Prayer: Father, I pray that my heart be guided like a river by Your Holy Spirit. I commit my spirit to be sanctified by the Holy Spirit who pacifies relationships and comforts hearts of men. Now, oh Lord, let Your peace that transcends human understanding dwell richly in my heart that I may stay in love and promote peace everywhere I go. In Jesus Christ’s Name.
