Ye are the salt of the earth….�

Salt is so common that you can find it anywhere. But in New Testament times, salt was an expensive and treasured commodity that was vitally needed in many spheres of life. When the Lord Jesus likened His listeners to salt, He knew exactly the kind of images that He wanted to flash through their minds, and He knew that the analogy would strike a chord.

Salt was used as an enhancer, preservative, antiseptic, healing agent, and more. All these characteristics speak of who you ought to be as a Christian. Are you influencing your world the right way? Are people around you feeling the effects of your saltiness? Where salt is, results follow. Be the proof!

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Dear God, thank You for making me salt on this Earth.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

I am salt. I bring healing to the sick; I disinfect toxic spaces, and bring flavour to those around me. Glory be to God!

STRANGE INCREASE

2 Corinthians 9:10 (NLT)
For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.

God is not only the giver of seed, but He is also the multiplier of seed. When you place what you have into His hands, He causes it to increase beyond natural capacity. His increase is not limited by economy, background, or human ability. The same God who multiplied the widow’s oil still increases what His children surrender in faith.

Increase is a principled reality for those who honour God with their resources and trust His supernatural provision. Your seed may look small, but in God’s hands, it carries greatness. Expect strange increase to touch your finances, ideas, opportunities, influence, and impact. Increase is not accidental; it is a convergence of the supernatural and the natural to produce the harvest you expect in this Year of Strange Oil!

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, I place my seed in Your hands. Breathe upon it and multiply it beyond natural limits. Amen!

*PRAISE THAT ENTHRONES GOD*

_*But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.*_

Praise is not about entertainment. It is about enthroning God. When you praise God, you give Him room to reign over your situation. Praise changes the atmosphere, lifts heaviness, and brings God's presence right into what you're facing. It turns your focus from the battle to the One who never loses.

Praise is not based on how you feel. It is based on who God is. When you lift glorious praise, angels move, and God manifests His power. Praise invites His dominion, His wisdom, and His victory into your life. No environment remains the same where God is enthroned. Let this Year of Strange Oil be a year of strange praise from your lips to your Maker, and watch situations shift in your life!

AUTHOR OF OUR DESTINY

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Your destiny began with Jesus, not human planning. Before you were formed, He authored your purpose, designed your path, and assigned your victories. Jesus is the author and the finisher. What He begins, He sustains, and what He sustains, He completes. No setback cancels His script, no delay alters His blueprint, and no enemy can rewrite your destiny.

When you fix your eyes on Jesus, confusion fades. He leads, guides, corrects, strengthens, and repositions you until your life matches what Heaven wrote. In Jesus, destiny is not uncertain: it is secured, protected, and perfected. It will be a beautiful, finished work when Jesus completes what He began in you in this Year of Strange Oil!

BEAUTY THAT TRANSFORMS US

Psalm 27:4 (KJV)
One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.

Jesus is the very expression of divine beauty: perfect in holiness, radiant in glory, and unmatched in splendour. The more you behold Him, the more His beauty transforms you. His presence beautifies your character, purifies your motives, and renews your identity. What the world calls beauty fades, but the beauty of Jesus is eternal and ever-increasing.

His beauty turns shame into honour, ashes into glory, and brokenness into wholeness. When you spend time in His presence, His nature begins to reflect in your life. You become gentler, stronger, purer, and more radiant. Jesus not only beautifies your outward life, but He also beautifies your inward man with joy, peace, grace, and favour.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Lord Jesus, as I behold Your beauty, transform my life. Purify my motives, renew my identity, and beautify my character with Your glory, grace, peace, and favour. Amen!
