Notable Points
*Main Preaching by Dr. Davies Malembeka*
- Matthew 17:24–27
- For us to be a blessing to others, we must first be financially stable.
- What is a skill? *A skill is an ability you learn and develop that enables you to perform tasks effectively and solve problems for others.*
- The Kingdom of God operates on the basis of skills and the supernatural.
- Jesus always pays our price, and the greatest price He paid was His blood as a sacrifice for us.
- When God wants to bless you, He blesses what you already have (a skill).
- Jesus did not create a new ability in Peter but activated the skill already in him; Peter’s skill was fishing (Luke 5). *What skill do you have?*
- Learn more and practice your skill, because your breakthrough will come from it. *What are you good at?*
- Money flows in the direction of skill.
- Do not change the instruction given by God to suit your level (e.g., finances or thinking). If you want to be financially blessed, obey God’s instructions.
- Marrying another woman will not solve problems in your marriage; instead, change your habits—for example, start buying your wife chocolates to improve her mood.
- God hides your provision in your competency.
- *If you are not educated, what are you good at? That is where your income will come from.*
- Your skills position you, but God provides the opportunity.
- When God gives you a word, consider it established — Isaiah 55:11.
- Do not divert the purpose of money from what it was intended for.
- Peter did not misuse the money he got from the fish (coin); he managed it well and did not change its purpose.
- God provides for you through your skill.
- God provides for us in a place called “there.” You may have a skill, but where is your “there” (location)?
- You can have a skill, but relationships with people also matter.
- If you have a skill, be consistent, and you will see results.
*Three Skills That Will Elevate You in the Future👇*
1. Digital tools and AI literacy
2. Content creation (e.g., TikTok or YouTube Shorts); public speaking
3. Problem-solving and critical thinking
*Prayer Points*
- Pray for divine helpers, collaborators, and facilitators.
- Pray and ask God to create opportunities for you and your skills.
