The Seven Pillars That Constitute Man’s Purpose, Identity and Destiny

THE SEVEN PILLARS
1. LEADERSHIP
Leadership is a fundamental part of a man’s identity and purpose. A man is called to take responsibility, provide direction and influence those entrusted to him.
a. Responsibility
A man must take responsibility for his life, decisions, family and assignments.
b. Followership
A good leader must first understand how to follow. A man must know how to submit to God, authority and godly leadership.
c. Problem Prevention, Solving and Management
A man should not only react to problems. He must develop the wisdom to prevent problems, solve them when they arise and manage their consequences.
2. DOMINION – VISION
God created man to exercise dominion over the earth. Dominion begins with vision and the ability to see what God has entrusted to you.
a. Fruitfulness – The Process of Pruning
A man must produce fruit. However, fruitfulness requires pruning—removing things that hinder growth so that greater fruit can be produced.
b. Multiply
What God gives a man should not end with him. He must develop, reproduce and multiply what has been entrusted to him.
c. Fill the Earth
A man is called to extend his influence and make an impact beyond himself.
d. Subdue
A man must learn to bring things under proper order and exercise authority over challenges and opposition.
e. Dominion
Dominion is the ability to exercise godly authority and influence according to God's purpose.
3. STRUCTURE – ORDER
A man must understand the importance of structure and order. Where there is no structure, there is confusion.
A man must bring order to his personal life, family, work, finances, relationships and spiritual life.
4. PRIESTHOOD
Every man is called to function as a priest in his sphere of influence.
a. Prayer
Every man must become a prayer warrior and build a consistent prayer life.
b. Honour
Every man must honour God through his words, decisions, lifestyle and obedience.
c. Service
Every man must serve God. A man should not only benefit from the work of God but also participate in it.
5. WORK
Every man must have something he is doing.
Work is part of God's design for man. Before the fall, God gave Adam the responsibility to tend and keep the garden.
A man should develop his abilities, create value, provide and contribute meaningfully to society.
6. OPPORTUNITY
Every man will have opportunities in life, but opportunity alone is not enough.
You must be prepared when your opportunity comes.
Preparation positions a man to recognise, embrace and maximise the opportunities God brings his way.
7. HELPER
When God saw that man needed help, He said, “I will make him a helper comparable to him.” (Genesis 2:18)
God gave man a woman—not another man—as a suitable helper.
The woman was not created to replace the man but to complement him in fulfilling God's purpose.
A man must therefore understand the value of godly partnership, honour the woman God has entrusted to him and recognise that destiny is often fulfilled through meaningful relationships and cooperation.
