VWG WORD-FEST

*PEACE BE STILL*

Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace, be still! And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. (Mark 4:39, NKJV)

Dear woman how do you respond when the storms of life are raging against you?

One time Jesus was with His disciples in a boat out on the water when they encountered a great storm. The disciples were very afraid, but Jesus on the other hand, was fast asleep. When the disciples woke Him to see if He could help them, Jesus got up and simply spoke to the storm, “Peace! Be still” and the seas were calm again.

VWG when difficult times come, you don’t have to be overwhelmed by the waves of worry or fear. Just as Jesus stood up and spoke to the storm, *you have power in your words, too*

The Bible says that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in every believer. *He’s given you His authority to declare peace over your home, over your mind, and over your family.* Remember, no matter what storms may come against you, the Greater One lives on the inside of you! Speak to your storms and walk in peace all the days of your life! Father, thank You for filling me with Your Holy Spirit and giving me Your authority here on earth.

*Today and always declare peace over every area of your life and always declare in the Name of Jesus Christ.*

*VWG MORNING WORD-FEST 23.01.2023*

*YOU ARE NOT AN ACCIDENT*

You know me inside and out, You know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. — *Psalm 139:15*

VWG God prescribed every single detail of your body. He deliberately chose your race, the color of your skin, your hair, and every other feature. He custom-made your body just the way He wanted it. He also determined the natural talents you would possess and the uniqueness of your personality.

Your birth was no mistake or mishap, and your life is no fluke of nature. Your parents may not have planned you, but God did. He was not at all surprised by your birth. In fact, He expected it.

Long before you were conceived by your parents, you were conceived in the mind of God. He thought of you first. It is not fate, nor chance, nor luck, nor coincidence that you are breathing at this very moment. You are alive because God wanted to create you!

Because God made you for a reason, He also decided when you would be born. He planned the days of your life in advance, choosing the exact time of your birth.

The Bible says, You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your Book! — *Psalm 139:16*

God also planned where you’d be born and where you’d live for His purpose. Your race and nationality are no accident. God left no detail to chance. He planned it all for His purpose

Nothing in your life is arbitrary. It’s all for a purpose.Most amazing, God decided how you would be born. Regardless of the circumstances of your birth or who your parents are, God had a plan in creating you.

It doesn’t matter whether your parents were good, bad, or indifferent. God knew that those two individuals possessed exactly the right genetic makeup to create the custom “you” he had in mind. They had the DNA God wanted to make you.

While there are illegitimate parents, there are no illegitimate children. Many children are unplanned by their parents, but they are not unplanned by God.

Long before He laid down earth’s foundations, He had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of His love. — *Ephesians 1:4*

VWG God was thinking of you even before He made the world. In fact, that’s why He created it! God designed this planet’s environment just so we could live in it. We are the focus of His love and the most valuable of all His creation.

The Bible says, God decided to give us life through the Word of truth so we might be the most important of all the things He made. — *James 1:18*

Dear woman this is how much God loves and values you! God is not haphazard; He planned it all with great precision.

*YOU ARE MORE THAN A CONQUEROR*

Romans 8.36 - 37 As it is written: "For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter." Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (NKJV)

VWG be rest assured that the world and the devil have always been the enemies of the children of God. The attacks are frequent and they are severe. Hardship seems to be real in this foreign world, sicknesses, diseases, financial problems, sorrow etc but inspite of everything the world and its system throw in our direction, we are still victorious. We are more than conquerors over all the devils efforts to defeat us and to destroy us. Hallelujah 🙌

*John 10:10* says The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). (AMP).

Jesus came and gave each one of us a life full of abundance.

Most christians have the idea that victory occurs when one is living a life that is free from troubles and heartaches. But what Paul is telling us in Romans 8:36-37 is something far different. We are more than conquerors “in all these things” inspite of everything the world and the devil can throw at us, inspite of the economy innour nation, inspite of this fiasco of COVID -19, inspite of many sicknesses etc, We are victorious in all these things.

VWG I encourage you to guard your hearts so diligently for out of it are the issues of life. Don't give the devil a chance to torment you. The one who lives in you is greater than the one who lives in this world. VWG FOCUS FOCUS.

*VWG MORNING WORD-FEST* 21.01.2023

*CHOOSE JOY IN TIMES OF ANXIETY*

When Paul first visited Philippi, it didn't take him long to find trouble. He and Silas were arrested, stripped of their clothes in front of a crowd, and brutally beaten. (Acts 16:22)
When Paul and Silas regained consciousness, they were in the most secure portion of the Philippian jail, surrounded by prisoners. Their wounds were fresh, and the dirt of the prison floor must have added to the torment. With their feet in stocks designed for discomfort, it made for a day when Paul and Silas needed encouragement about as badly as they ever had.
Their reaction to a really bad day? "About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them." Acts 16:25 (HCSB)

VWG this passage of scripture is nearly unbelievable. Two men serving God were singing praise to God, on a day when God apparently took the day off 🤔. Paul had seen God's miracle-working hand before. In fact, a miracle of God was what led to all the trouble. So where was the miracle during the arrest, the humiliation, and the beating? Why had God let his missionaries sit in the rot of a prison dungeon all afternoon, and half the night?🤔

The bigger question: Why would God's missionaries sing praise to God under such conditions?🤔

There must be a connection between what happened to Paul in Philippi on his first visit, and what he wrote to the believers there several years later. *"Rejoice in the Lord always,"* Paul wrote.

I wonder, could they have forgotten the innocent prisoner who sang at midnight?

Dear woman If anxiety rules your day, turn the tables on your stress. Sing a praise song as if it's the best day of your life, and not the worst. Tell God how much you love Him, even if you feel quite unloved during an anxious season. *Choosing joy in the midst of anxiety is faith lived out.*

"Don't be anxious about anything. Instead, pray. And God's peace will cover your heart." Hallelujah 🙌

*VWG MORNING WORD-FEST*

*PERSISTENCE BRINGS THE ANSWER*

Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? *Matthew 7:9*

VWG Life is about persistence, and one man who was very persistent in his pursuit of greatness was Elisha (2nd Kings 2). Elisha kept following Elijah ardently and many people thought he was wasting his time. Elijah moved from Bethel to Jordan and from there to Jericho, yet, Elisha would not let go. He was desperate for greatness, and his persistence in the pursuit of greatness paid off.

You need to understand that you have a great role to play if you will ever get answers to your prayers. Also, understand that sometimes, there is a place of waiting before a prayer is answered. Some problems have a required number of hits they must receive before they become levelled. Naaman had to dip in the water seven times before He could get his cleansing. Thank God he did not stop at the sixth dip when he discovered there was still no change. It takes persistence to get the miracles you desire from God.

*There is no problem in life without an expiry date.* The faint in spirit cannot get anything significant from life. They give up at the point when they are so close to their blessing. God is a God of plan and purpose. He does everything according to His timetable.

Lady VWG dont conclude that your miracle is taking too long to come; don't become impatient and begin to look for alternatives that will not give you the kind of joy you desire. Do not be such a woman. You need to keep your hope alive. You need to push until you get what you want out of life. Push woman and push in prayers and maintain your confession.

THE FATHER HAS GIVEN ME ALL IN CHRIST JESUS…

I affirm that the Word of God is the truth by which I live today and always. God’s Word has enlightened the eyes of my understanding and has strengthened my faith to lay hold of all that the Father has given to me in Christ Jesus. I am living triumphantly, making my way prosperous, as I live in, and by, the Word. I am alive unto God; for my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, where His glory, beauty, aura, and perfections are expressed. I function in the dominion of the Spirit, having been enthroned over Satan, the principalities of darkness, and all the rudiments of this world.

My life is the manifestation of the graces, many-sided wisdom, and perfections of God, whose glory I am, and whose presence I carry. Christ lives in me; His life and immortality have been unveiled in my spirit! I am a partaker of the God-life— a life that is superior to sickness, disease, and death! I walk in dominion over death and everything associated with darkness, for I dwell in the realm of life. I’ve passed from death to life; therefore, all that is associated with death can never lord it over me.

Jesus is the Lord of my life; I can never be disadvantaged, because He is my Rock, my salvation, and my exceeding great reward! He’s made my life beautiful, and I am His delight! Hallelujah! I have received abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness; therefore, I reign over and above all circumstances and situation. Excellence, glory, virtue, and success are the hallmarks of my life because the grace of God is superabundant in and upon me. I grow in grace and in the knowledge of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The beauty of God in my spirit is showing forth on the outside, evidently, manifest for all to see! Glory to God. Hallelujah!

*HE GUIDES US THROUGH THE WORD*

_And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified_ *(Acts 20:32)*

Some people have made shipwreck of their faith because they believed certain dreams and revelations they claimed came from God. In the New Testament, God doesn’t lead us through dreams. He guides us through the Word and the Holy Spirit. We can always depend on the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us through our spirits and through the Word.

You might be quick to ask, *“How about Acts 2:17? Doesn’t it indicate that God still leads through dreams?”* No, He doesn’t. Dreams were for the sense-knowledge generation of men. Since the Holy Spirit came, you don’t find the apostles or anyone in the New Testament being ministered to in a dream. The Holy Spirit, nonetheless, does lead by visions and other revelations such as prophecy, the inward witness, and other gifts of the Spirit.

However, any vision, prophecy or revelation that doesn’t align with the Word is not from God. It brings to mind the story of a certain sick man who had been a Christian for many years and had a vision where someone walked into the room, wearing sandals and a white robe, and covered with a cloud. He recounted that as he looked from the person’s feet upwards to make out his face, the image suddenly spoke and said, *“It’s not my will to heal you”* and disappeared.

He immediately believed it was Jesus, because he said he *“felt”* the presence of God. From then on, he believed it wasn’t God’s will to heal him. What made him think it was Jesus who appeared to him? Was it because the person was in a white robe? Was it because the person was covered with a cloud?

Those aren’t enough reasons to assume it was Jesus. If, in a vision, you heard a voice that tells you something that’s inconsistent with the Scriptures, then it’s questionable. The question to ask is, does God want people well? Emphatically yes! Read 3 John 1:2. He’ll never come to you in a dream or vision to tell you anything contrary. He never contradicts Himself. Every revelation must be subjected to the Word of God! This is the reason you must study the Word and know it for yourself.

*PRAYER*

_Dear Father, thank you for the immeasurable blessing of your Word and the Holy Spirit who guides me in your perfect will always. Your Word is my light, and I’m blessed always to receive the accurate guidance I need to deal wisely, enjoying my blessed life of righteousness in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen._

THE SUPPLY ZONE

SUNDAY, MAY 15TH

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3).

Blessed be God! The Word of God is so enthralling, edifying and fulfilling! Think about what we just read in our theme verse: we’ve been given everything we require for an excellent life of glory, dominion, righteousness and superabundance.

It reminds of what the Spirit says through Paul in Ephesians 1:3: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” As a Christian, you’re in the supply zone; you dwell in surplus.

David said, “He maketh me to lie down in green pastures…” (Psalm 23:2); that’s your abode—the place of never-ending, superabundant wealth, where you have no consciousness of want or need.

You need to know who you are as a child of God: you’re the seed of Abraham. You’re an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. That means you own this world. Everything the Father owns belongs to you, because you’re His heir. How then could you be broke? Think about the monarchs of this world; their children are born into wealth. Do you think it’s any different with our God? He’s the Monarch of the universe.

No wonder the Spirit prayed through the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 1:18 that the eyes of your understanding would be enlightened to know the hope of His calling, and the unfathomable riches of the glory of His inheritance bequeathed to His saints. You were born into an incorruptible, inexhaustible inheritance. Become conscious of this every day and it’ll change your life completely.

Christianity is a life you practise. As long as you remain in that babyhood stage of always needing and expecting some kind of financial miracles, you’ve not yet understood Christianity and your inheritance in Christ. What you need is a “mental crossover” into the zone of continual abundant supply.

Study 2 Corinthians 9:8 AMPC; it says, “And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].” This is where God wants you to function; it’s the life Christ has given us!

CONFESSION
God has made all grace, every favour and earthly blessing come to me in abundance; therefore, I’m self-sufficient. I was born into an incorruptible, inexhaustible inheritance. Christ is in me, and He’s my all! With Him, I have all things. Blessed be God!
