What are you grateful for to the Lord?

Psalm 95:16

Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care" (NIV),

1. Stewardship

Our work must be by our hearts, the love for work. Don't work to show off. Work because it's a principle that proves a blessing on your life.

2. Be Practical

As a Christian it's okay to claim and pray fervently. But this year (2026) be practical in your plans. It's not enough to just dream and keep dreaming. Wake up and be practical. Your dream can only be realized when you get up and become practical. Acquire as much knowledge as possible. Hosea 4:6 ' for my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge'. Let's give ourselves to searching and seeking knowledge. Learn a skill this year and be practical. Everyone must learn a skill. This will not just improve your personal life but also the church will benefit from your practicability.

3. Diversification

As a ministry in 2026, we want to work.
Diversification is a risk management strategy, often summarized as "not putting all your eggs in one basket," that involves spreading investments or business activities across different assets, industries, or markets to reduce the impact of any single one failing. In investing, it means mixing assets like stocks, bonds, and real estate so that if one performs poorly, others may perform well, leading to more stable, long-term returns and lower overall risk. For businesses, it means expanding into new products, services, or markets to build resilience and create new revenue streams. As believers, let's cast our nets wide and think of other ways of empowering ourselves in any kind of industries. Invest more in other things. (Ecclesiastes 11:2).

2026, what are your plans both personal and family?

This year as MCC we will get involved in a lot of work.

1. To show us God's love to us.
- This was (is) the demonstration of his love to us. His love will direct your steps. You will do everything in love. Why would you habour hate, pain and revenge, why?
2. He came to demonstrate the power of God.
- No man born of a woman has ever died the way Jesus did. The events that took place during his death were unique demonstrating the power of God. Imagine darkness in the whole earth, an earthquake and the veil being tolled.? This is why you must walk in divine health, walk in faith and love. You can succeed at everything you do in this life.
3. He showed us the mercy of God.
- Our God is so merciful. Despite all our wrong doings, his mercy is sufficient. Let mercy be your portion child of God. May his mercy keep you. Titus 1:4
4. His death came to demonstrate the wisdom of God
- This death outsmarted the devil's works. God is wisdom and when Christ died, he took a hold of Satan and defeated him. Now you can claim victory over death and satan because of his wisdom.
5. He came to give us back the glory that was lost in the Garden of Eden.
- Because of sin, the glory left man. Now you have the glory of God. You are his glory. When God looks at you, he sees himself in you. Take care of your life and salvation. You are his glory. John 17:5

Message:
Knowing Jesus for yourself

Isaiah 53:5-7
Mark 14:34

How do you describe the relationship you have with those you claim to know?

Your claim and love will be tested at some point. If your love is guinine, you will pass the test. Brothers and sisters, Jesus's vicarious death means so much to your Faith than anything else you can ever think of.

Look at how much his love was expressed even unto death. Is there any human being on earth ready to die for another man? Just think of it. Imagine giving an excuse for missing church just because someone has visited you or you're washing in exchange for his death?. Just think of it. You missed fellowship because of your uncle who came unannounced for Christ's death. And you think it's a valid reason.

Brothers and sisters, your faith is more than excuses to be understood. Your salvation came at a price no man can pay for it. You see your life going in cycles and someone died for your life to he worthy living,. Listen, change your mind and decide to be serious about your spiritual life that means so much to God. Don't take your salvation for granted. It costed a life. You can't afford to be casual about it. When Its fellowship time, ran for it knowing it came at a price.

John 19:25
Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother...

Can you imagine the pain of the mother looking at his son being bruised and dying? You think it's easy? God loves you. He paid for you. You were bought at a price.

Make up your mind and see his life in you. Why would you rather mess up with your life in exchange for worldly pleasures? Why would you rather he a man's pleasers over Christ?

Remember,
"But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed"
Isaiah 53:5

Reflect on this word. What does Jesus mean to you? Who is he in your life.
