TRUST IN THE LORD
Psalms 37:3 (KJV) Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

This Christian life is all about putting our trust in God. Why? Because God is the only one who can help us live the life that is truly best for us. God is the source of our provision and when we trust in Him we are able to take heed of His directions and find everything we need for our lives .

Prayer
Dear God, I pray that my mind will always stay fixed on you and I will trust in you completely. Father, may I never pay attention to any distractions that may come my way. May my gaze be fully fixed on you, Lord. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

HE NEEDS YOU VOICE OUT

Luke 11:13 (KJV) If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

EXPLORERS INSPIRATION:
I often like to make comparisons between God and us and any parent with their child. For any parents, think of how you treat your children. Sometimes you make mistakes, sometimes you act selfishly, sometimes you are too proud or hurt to do what you know is the right thing. Your children will still love you and understand and will be OK. Consider this: God is perfect. He never makes these mistakes. EVER. Think how much better all of us will be with Him as our Father.

Dear Father, I am so grateful and fortunate that You love me. Thank you for being a wonderful guide for me in all of my relationships, knowing full well how to act to any person that I come in contact with in any situation. I come before You in prayer, asking that You will help me to be similar to You as a parent, spouse, friend, colleague, and even as a stranger. I pray that I can positively affect everyone and everything around me, as You most certainly have in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

"BETTER DAYS ARE COMING YOUR WAY"
1 Thessalonians 4:7-8 (KJV) For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

EXPLORERS INSPIRATION
When we despise God's command to be holy and flee from fornication and all uncleanness, we are grieving the Holy Spirit and insulting our God. He has called us to holiness, and we must walk in holiness if we are to please Him.

Morning prayer
David once cried out, "cleanse me with hyssop and I will be clean. " (Psalm 51:7) He was willing to undergo unpleasantness to "scrub" away his defilement if necessary. Let us also be willing to submit to unpleasant cleansing from sin, knowing the joy that comes with having a clean heart in Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

"PRAYER IS POWERFUL"

John 3:16-17 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

EXPLORERS INSPIRATION:

John 3:16 is easily the most well known, and probably the most well loved, verse in all the Bible. It is in some ways a summary of the whole of Scripture, and certainly a summary of the Gospel. Here we see God's great love for a fallen world, such that he gave his only Son to die on Calvary's cross. And the purpose is stated to be so that anyone who believes in Jesus would not perish but have eternal life. John 3:17 then begins by denying that God sent his Son to condemn the world, but asserts it was in fact to save it. Many of the Jews thought that Messiah would come to bless Israel but to judge the Gentile world. But here we see Jesus die to save Jew and Gentile alike.

MORNING PRAYER

Lord, we know that you do not fail in any of your purposes. Your purpose was to save an elect people from all nations, Jew and Gentile alike. Your purpose was to save "whosoever believes" in Jesus. And everyone who has ever come to Jesus in true repentance and faith has been saved. We praise you for your kindness shown to us in Christ Jesus and we strive to make your Gospel known to all in Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
