DEVOTION
Having a powerful ally to support us can bring great comfort and freedom. Making tough decisions to provide for ourselves and our families can be daunting, but with the right guidance, we can make sure our choices are wise and beneficial now and in the future.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your ability to soothe every storm in my life. I pray for Your guidance and solutions to the difficulties I'm currently facing. May Your strength be with me so I can find solace in You. Amen.

INSPIRATION
We have much thanks to give to our ministers and our Church. They provide some of the most crucial services that may nourish our spirits and give us greater hope. Nearly none of these leaders or teachers got into this profession for the money, rather they entered it as a calling. Thus, support where you can those involved in the Church, its ministries or elsewhere, in prayer and/or donation. For they are the lifeblood within our faith and one of the greatest lifelines to our Lord.

PRAYER
Gracious God, I am still but a child and a student to your word. I thank you for putting on this earth the men and women who strive to do your work day and night, and pray that you may watch over them Lord, and give them your blessing. In them I vow to listen, in them I vow to study your name. Give them strength in all they do Lord, for I am still but a child and a student, and they are our guides in knowing you better. Amen.

INSPIRATION
Jesus, as a result of the sacrifice he made, leaving his place in heaven for the sake of mankind, was highly rewarded by God, the Father, when his work was done. We, too, will receive rewards for the work we do as Christians. We should strive to do our best in our heavenly work, the same way we put effort into our earthly work, looking forward to the reward God will grant us – provided everything we did was done with a genuine heart.

PRAYER
Dear God, I pray that in everything I do for you, may you see nothing but excellence. Lord, may I take your work just as seriously as I take the work I do on earth. I know that your work is of much more value and I desire to show you this. May I do everything with a genuine heart and never for the approval of man. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

INSPIRATION
Can evil hide from God? No! The Bible tells us that the wicked are abhorrent to God – he will punish the wicked until there is no wickedness left. Knowing this is true, why would anyone cling to the sins of this world? God abhors wickedness. Thankfully, he sent his son, Jesus Christ, to forgive us of our sins and offer use eternal salvation. When we repent, we will be saved. However, those who are wicked will suffer for their evil ways. Trust the Lord to punish the wicked and offer mercy to those who place their faith in him.

PRAYER
Dear God, sin and evilness exist and I do not want any part of it in my life. When I am tempted, send your Holy Spirit to guide me. Forgive me for my sins and wickedness. Thank you for showing me mercy when I did not deserve it. Lord, you are holy. Defeat those who are wicked and try to separate others from your love. When the world seems so dark, help me to remember that your son’s death and resurrection has already defeated the powers of sin and darkness. Thank you, Father!

INSPIRATION

Great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto thee!" I have doubted the Lord’s plan for me, having the audacity to demand that He shows me a sign that I can understand. What a fool I have been at times! Look around you: is everything you see, hear, taste, and feel not enough? The Lord is dependable, far more than we are. Strive to be more like Him, more dependable and faithful. It is the greatest gift that we can offer the Lord, and the only one worth giving.

PRAYER

Forgive me for losing faith at times, Heavenly Father, for I am weak and foolish at times. I must have tested Your patience and am so thankful that Your love of me has never waned. Hear me Lord! I am so lucky to be able to love You! It is all that I want to do. I pledge my servitude to You this day and always, Amen.

INSPIRATION

I constantly compare myself to Jesus Christ. Although I think that it is a good thing to contemplate how you live and compare it to Christ, it can also be very difficult. Jesus is the Son of God. It would be impossible for us to ever be as good as him because he was created without flaws. God sent him to earth as a mortal man, as a sinner, so that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (2 Corinthians 5: 21) It is an impossible standard to reach, but is there any other person that you would rather be more similar to?

PRAYER

Divine God, powerful creator of both Heaven and earth, I pray that these words convey my sincere gratitude to you for sending Jesus to us. Forgive me, Father, for I am selfish and weak, acting directly against your heavenly mandate. I know that Jesus Christ has shown light on a darkened path, and I shall march forward on the path to heaven, where I hope to one day join you, O Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

INSPIRATION

There are no words that can fully describe God, His love, or what it means to believe. It is with actions and feelings that God’s love can be conveyed. Saying that you believe in Jesus is one thing. Believing in Jesus is another one entirely. Believe in Christ and you shall be saved. Confess your love for Him, for Christ is the Lord.

PRAYER

Almighty Father in Heaven, I love Your son, Jesus Christ. I am astounded at Your willingness to send Him to die for a group of sinners; we truly do not deserve His life, let alone His death. Jesus Christ, I thank you for Your gentle and illuminating life on earth. Thank you for teaching us how to truly love and be loved. I love You, Christ my Lord. In your name I pray, Amen.

(INSPIRATION)
Timonty was a pastor, appointed by Paul to care for a congregation of God's people. He was an "elder," but was not especially "elderly." Some might be tempted not to listen to him because of his youth and presumed lack of wisdom. But Paul instructs him to preach God's Word boldy and to live out an example all of God's people could desire to emulate.

(PRAYER)
Let us have respect to your Word, O Lord, and not so much to the men who preach or teach it. If we see a Christian living a holy example and teaching us the great truths found in your Book, let us not distrust him because of his youth but rejoice in what God is doing with him. Let us also be quick to learn from and benefit from such a minister of the Gospel. Amen
