‎Ezekiel 37:1–14;
‎Genesis 4:14;
‎Ezekiel 37:12;
‎Ezekiel 12:26–28

‎What is a Vagabond Spirit?

‎A vagabond spirit is a condition of wandering, moving from place to place without direction or destination.
‎- It represents a life without stability, purpose, or rootedness.

‎Characteristics of a Vagabond Spirit

‎1. Restlessness — confusion in one’s life (Ezekiel 37:3). Restless, unfocused, and cut off from community.

‎2. Lack of Purpose not knowing what you want to do, following whoever leads.

‎3. Chronic Instability — unable to settle on one thing, constantly wandering (Proverbs 14:12).

‎4. Spiritual Dryness — sponsored by the vagabond spirit.

‎5. Comparison Lifestyle — living by comparing yourself to others.

‎6. Wastefulness — wasting resources, living without a plan.

‎7. Near-Breakthrough Attacks — investing heavily, yet just before breakthrough the enemy comes to destroy (Psalm 55:9).

‎How the Vagabond Spirit Comes About:
‎* Through naming ceremonies.
‎*Through evil pronouncements by forefathers (Genesis 49:4).

‎How to Overcome
‎*Speak the Word over your life and declare it.
‎(2 Corinthians 4:18; Job 22:28).
‎*Stand firm in God’s promises and refuse restlessness.Anchor your life in divine purpose and direction.

SUNDAY SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS | 30th August 2026.

Preacher:Pastor J. Zimba

TEXT: Exodus 2:1–10, Luke 19:1–10

THEME: When Mercy Triggers Uncommon Favor.

Moses was an extraordinary child, and yet he was born at a time when the Egyptians were killing all Hebrew boys.

You cannot hide favor and God's blessings over your life, because eventually it will begin to announce itself.

Not even the Nile River can swallow favor.

We all need a Miriam in our lives (a person who prays and intercedes for us).

WHEN GOD IS ABOUT TO DO SOMETHING IN YOUR LIFE, HE TRIGGERS DESTINY, AND EVERYTHING BEGINS TO MOVE IN YOUR FAVOR.

WHEN MERCY TRIGGERS FAVOR, PEOPLE WILL SHOW UP WHEN WE HAVE DEFINING MOMENTS AND SPEAK FOR US WHEN WE HAVE NO VOICE.

WHAT IS MERCY?
This is when God treats you based on His goodness and not our performance.
God will overlook your weaknesses, and uncommon favor will begin to follow.
Mercy is when God shows you kindness when you deserved to face judgment.

WHAT IS FAVOR?
Being singled out and being preferred amongst a group of people while others are surpassed.

Our spirit should be alert when the presence of God is in our midst.
The Word of God works, and it all depends on how you decide to receive it (desire).
Be humble and continue serving in the house of God, because you cannot outgrow God.

Hindrances of Zacchaeus

1. The crowd that surrounded Jesus. Do not be in a crowd; be separated and know how to withdraw and separate yourself from certain people.

2. He was disabled as a result of his short stature, but his desire was so great that he found means of outgrowing the crowd.

3. His title as the Chief Tax Collector. Tax collectors were considered outcasts.

Learn to look aside and see what way Jesus is going to use, so that you can only get a glimpse of Him and learn to experience His uncommon favor.

THEME: LORD, WHY DID YOU ALLOW IT?

DATE: 23 August 2026

TEXTS:

John 11:32–40

Psalm 77:7–10

MESSAGE:
Most of the time people ask God questions like:

Why did God let my husband/wife die?

Why did God let me lose my job?

Why did I become sick?

- It is not a sin to ask God questions, but it is a sin to question God.
- Some people ask questions without answers.

Biblical Examples When People Asked Questions:

Mark 11:26–32

- People ask questions for them to learn more, and they will be able to handle issues.

John 9:2

Genesis 25:23

- Through praying, God will be there to reveal. (John 11:37)

Why It Is Difficult to Understand God:

Isaiah 55:8–9

Job 39:1–9

Judges 6:12–13

Six Reasons Why We Ask Questions and Why There Are Questions:

1. His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts.

2. For us to learn a big lesson. (Psalm 119:71)

3. Because God has intention in what He is doing in our life. (Ephesians 3:10; Proverbs 3:5)

4. It will be good for you. (Romans 8:28)

5. Because God does whatever pleases Him. (Psalm 115:3; Isaiah 46:10; Daniel 4:35)

6. For men to fear Him. (Ecclesiastes 3:14; 1 Kings 18:24–39; Joshua 4:24; John 11:17; John 11:32–38; Ephesians 3:20)

Ephesians 3:20 states that God is above everything.

Ephesians 1:21

Philippians 2:9–10

‎THEME: My God Shall Remember Me Today.
‎My God is a God Who Shall Never Change.
‎Psalm 46:17

‎WHAT IS TO REMEMBER?
‎- To remember is to recall.
‎- It is to return memory.
‎- Recall on something forgotten.
‎- God picking you from beyond the crowd.
‎- God giving you His divine attention and choosing you among billions.

‎- Precision

COUPLES SUNDAY HIGHLIGHTS | 9th August 2026.

‎Theme: Be Real and Address Matters📖 Text:
‎Psalm 127:1;
‎Matthew 23:27–28

‎💍 What’s inside your marriage?
‎How can you respond to hidden problems in marriage?
‎• Seek professional counseling
‎• Let God be the center of your marriage
‎• Remember: God alone can fill empty hearts

‎✨ Emptiness signifies surrender.
‎Many marriages fail to experience God because of pride. “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise” (Psalm 51:17).

‎- When we empty ourselves, God fills us with unending love.
‎- Whatever you don’t address today will affect others from one generation to another.
‎- Healing begins when we are honest.
‎- Let go of what pollutes your home.

‎🏠 A successful marriage is not built on riches, money, or beauty but on Christ. “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it” (Psalm 127:1).
