I ESCAPED DEATH AT 21.
At 21, I experienced a terrifying event that remains etched in my memory. It was 2017, and I had gone to bed just like any other night. But this night was different.
As I lay there, I heard my mother calling my name, Steve! Steve! But I was unable to respond. Suddenly, I found myself transported to a desolate, graveyard-like place. The atmosphere was heavy with an eerie silence and a putrid smell of decay. I was alone, surrounded by old, empty houses.
Fear gripped me as I wandered, searching for a way out. "How did I get here?" I thought. "Which path leads home?" The more I walked, the more isolated and frightened I felt.
Just as panic set in, a mysterious figure appeared before me. His face was obscured, but I sensed something unusual about him. He spoke in a low tone, "You shouldn't be here; your mother is calling you."
I jolted awake to find my mother shaking me, her eyes brimming with tears. "What happened?" she asked, concern etched on her face. I struggled to explain the vivid experience.
The smell of decay lingered, and I knew it wasn't just a dream. I was shaken, refusing to sleep until dawn. Seeking guidance, I shared my story with my spiritual father. He reassured me, "You won't die before your time; God has plans for you."
The next day, during Sunday prayer, three girls manifested simultaneously, confessing they had been sent to kill me but failed. I connected this to my previous night's experience, realizing that something supernatural had occurred.
That encounter left an indelible mark on me, confirming the existence of life beyond this realm and the presence of lonely, unknown places.
