James 4:7
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

The Christian life begins with submission to God. When we surrender our plans, desires, and decisions to Him, we allow Him to lead our lives. Submission is not weakness; it is an expression of trust and obedience.

James also tells us to resist the devil. We must not give temptation, fear, discouragement, or sin a place in our lives. Through prayer, God’s Word, and faith, we can stand firm.

The promise is encouraging: “He will flee from you.” When we draw near to God and stand firmly in Him, the enemy cannot overcome us.

Wednesday Inspiration.

Matthew 7:3–5

Jesus teaches us to look at ourselves before looking at others. It is easy to see the mistakes of other people while ignoring our own weaknesses. We may notice the “speck” in someone’s eye while there is a “plank” in our own.

Before we correct or judge others, let us allow God to search our hearts and reveal what needs to change in us. Self-introspection helps us recognise our weaknesses, attitudes, motives, and actions before God.

When we allow God to work within us, He gives us humility, wisdom, love, and understanding to help others in the right way.

Let us therefore ask: “Lord, what do You need to change in me?” Before pointing at others, let God transform us first.

Motivational Tuesday

1 Samuel 1:15-16 ESV
“But Hannah answered, ‘No, my lord, I am a woman troubled in spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but I have been pouring out my soul before the Lord. Do not regard your servant as a worthless woman, for I have been speaking out of my great anxiety and vexation."

The tabernacle at Shiloh regarded as a place where Israel could meet God for 300 years until it was destroyed. A place where Israelites would sacrifice, praise. Hannah was among the statistics at Shiloh, seeking God with an honest heart. She was praying silently, only her lips were moving. To the priest Eli, it looked like she was drunk.What she’s really saying*: _“I’m not drunk. I’m pouring out my soul to God.”_ It’s one of the first pictures in the Bible of honest, heartfelt prayer.

Hannah didn't hide her pain, she was distressed and came to God with her raw emotions and laid them on the table. There were no polished words but she spoke from the heart not from the lips, silently,intense and so intimate. Eli misunderstood her but God searched her heart and saw the honesty in her prayer. You don't need loud words for God to hear you,God searches the heart.

As we are leaving our comfort zones, going for Shiloh at our Congress venue,never be limited by the sorrounding, what other people may say about you. Focus on the goal that is being honest with Christ, we have different backgrounds and we are burdened differently, lay your honest prayer before the Lord and you will receive it.

Be honest, intimate, surrender and persevere!! God is here for you!

Monday inspiration.

Matthew 7:1–2 (KJV)
“Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”

Jesus reminds us that the way we treat others matters. As Christians, we are called to walk in love, mercy, fairness and tolerance. Before we criticize someone, we should remember that they, too, need grace, encouragement and understanding.

We should not judge people based on one mistake, one story or what others have said about them. We may not always agree with others, but we can learn to disagree without disrespecting or rejecting them. Everyone is a work in progress, and the person we judge today may be someone God uses greatly tomorrow.

We must also remember the mercy we have received from God. If God treated us only according to our mistakes, none of us would stand. Because we have received mercy, we should also show mercy to others.

Let our families, churches, and even our social media conversations reflect Christ. Before we speak, post, criticize or respond, let us ask ourselves: Am I showing love? Am I being fair? Am I giving room for grace?

May we correct with love, disagree with respect, forgive with grace, and walk with mercy.

Weekend Inspiration

Ephesians 6:10
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.”

Life can bring challenges that leave us tired, discouraged, and uncertain. But Ephesians reminds us that our strength does not come from ourselves it comes from the Lord.

When we feel weak, we must look to God rather than our circumstances. He gives us strength to continue, courage to face difficulties, and faith to keep moving forward.

Therefore, do not give up when life becomes difficult. Keep praying, keep trusting, keep serving, and keep believing. God is with you in every situation, and His strength is greater than whatever you are facing.
