A FRESH START
Scripture of the day :
"Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth ; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." - Isaiah 43:18-19 (NKJV)
Message :
Are you looking for a fresh start? Have a new perspective on how things will progress in your life. The scripture above tells us to forget the former things, meaning you should not dwell on them. The only way change will come, and a new beginning will sprout forth, is when you let go of the past. Release past bad memories, past mistakes, heartache, and the trauma you might have gone through. Scripture give us an antidote for a fresh start, "Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old."
Do not focus on how you failed to attain your previous goals, focus on what is laid out for you now, and what is in God's plan for your life now. Some people get so frustrated when they fail to establish their plans, forgetting that God has His own plans and ways of doing things in their lives. He declares through Prophet Jeremiah, "For I know the plans I have for you" ( Jeremiah 29:11). God is about to do a new thing and make a way for your life even in that wilderness. You can even pursue your previous project differently, using a new outlook. Today, that is exactly what God is promising. Receive the power of a fresh start.
Action Point :
Decide to forget your past. Ensure that you understand that it can only manifest when you renew your mind. Fix your eyes on what is important and not on the past. Take your position and behold, a new thing.
Prayer :
"Lord, open my eyes to behold that which you have in store for me now. Help me not to dwell on the former things. Thank You for giving me the antidote for a fresh start. I believe from henceforth I am walking in divine miracles, in Jesus ' name. Amen."
