As Upper room church of all nations, we ensure that our members don't just become prayer warriors, but also develop into skilled individuals. Today, we hosted an entrepreneurship seminar where we learned about business and equipped our church members with practical skills.

We even learned how to bake, enabling them to start small businesses and earn a living. This way, they can be self-sufficient and support themselves.

Knowledge is key.

23.02.2025

Don't use prayer only to end problems, but to identify the source of your problems. As God said, 'My people are perishing for lack of knowledge' (Hosea 4:6), not prayers. There's power in having knowledge in everything, for in knowledge, we discover new things.

It's essential for parents to teach their children about relationships, marriage, and other important life aspects. If parents don't teach them, the world will. Parents have a duty to impart knowledge to their children in all areas they deem necessary.

By imparting knowledge, children will increase in understanding and wisdom. As the Bible says, 'A man of knowledge increases in strength' (Proverbs 24:5). Pastor Banda emphasized to Upper Room Church members the importance of acquiring knowledge and skills.

According to the Bible, 'a skilled person will serve before kings' (Proverbs 22:29). Acquiring knowledge and skills can open doors to new opportunities and success

Your financial life is your responsibility—manage it wisely. Cut off those who play around with your source of income because the people we depend on will not be with us forever. If you don’t have a source of income, find one. Learn a skill, whether it’s plaiting hair, baking fritters, or something else, to revive your financial life.

And don’t forget to take care of your health. If you take care of your body, it will reward you by supporting you in return. You need your body’s support, so take care of it. If you don’t, it will wear down and fail to back your plans. As referenced in Jeremiah 33, monitor your health by being mindful of what you eat. Many people die prematurely because they neglect their health, leaving behind their missions, good-looking partners, and dreams. Don’t just eat because you’re hungry—pay attention to the ingredients in the food you consume. As stated in 3 John 1:2, good health is a blessing we must strive to maintain.

Pastor. Banda has emphasized to his members the importance of taking precautions to protect themselves from cholera. With floods causing running water everywhere, he advises purchasing chlorine to ensure safe drinking water.

Deliverance from Financial Hardship

On January 26, 2025, Pastor Banda preached at Upper Room Church of Nations, emphasizing the importance of honesty and attention to detail in achieving financial freedom.

"To be delivered from financial hardship, you must first be honest with yourself," Pastor Banda stated. "Pay attention to ideas, as your financial life demands effort and attention."

He added, "To achieve something, you must focus on the things that truly matter. A poor man gives attention to everything and achieves nothing."

Citing God's creation as an example, Pastor Banda noted that God created one thing at a time, demonstrating the importance of focus and prioritization.

Furthermore, Pastor Banda emphasized the significance of money in removing shame and embarrassment from one's life.

To achieve deliverance from financial hardship, Pastor Banda outlined three key principles:

1. Attention and commitment: Paying attention to what you're doing is crucial. It's essential to be committed to your goals and focus on what truly matters.

2. Time management: How you spend your time is critical, as time is money. Be mindful of friendships that don't add value to your financial life.

3. Discipline and planning: Create a calculated plan for your salary, and avoid reckless spending. Have a plan for what to eat, what to wear, and how to manage your resources. Involve God in your financial decisions to secure your assets.

In conclusion, Pastor Banda emphasized that financial freedom requires effort, attention, and discipline. By following these principles and involving God in your financial decisions, you can achieve deliverance from financial hardship.

Financial Independence, Not S*x, Brings Value in Marriage - Pastor Banda to Women

Pastor Banda advised women during his sermon at the Upper Room Church of All Nations on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Speaking under the theme "Value of Life," he cautioned women against relying solely on their husbands' financial support. Instead, he encouraged them to build their own financial stability, emphasizing that this would make them more valuable to their partners.

He further advised women to move beyond the notion that being good in bed is what adds value to them. Pastor Banda noted that s*x has become commonplace and can be accessed anywhere, anytime, and often for free or for sale. He stressed that financial stability is key to earning respect from men.
