‘America Today’; it has to be. They are the leaders.
Many years back I married a white American out of curiosity rather than conviction. Years raced on without major troubles. But as history has it: nothing remains the same.
Once upon a time my sibling and her sibling picked something about this thing: black and white. It raged on relentlessly like a Californian bush fire, until it reached us.
During those days, she was driving me to the market and this thing fired at us. We could not figure it out how to smolder it. Words jumped up and down; tiers squeaked; hand brake became the foot brake. This is despite our high levels of education—her at PhD level and mine just a little lower.
Yes, this is an imagination gone crazy; it is at a crisis, at breaking speed. They rolled themselves into a riotous mob; and entered the vaulted and sacred pavilion and smashed windows and furniture and put the sacred crown on the cow’s head—in the likeness of the son of destruction, 2 Thessalonian 2:3. They hacked into sensitive data. It was uncivil war. The hand of destruction was everywhere; it even left 400,000 dead in the pandemic in a year!
Peace came only when one of us decided to remain silent for long hours, even to a snooze. The only last loud sound I heard was a car door being slammed closed.
Ah, the one who created this thing—black and white—meant to have a little giggle out of it, but it never ended at a giggle. It raced into a long-lasting-laughter. I bet; heaven heard that He had a long-lasting-laughter today—20/01/2021. Congratulations.
