Good morning, beloved of the Lord. Happy and blessed Saturday, the 26th of July, 2025. Pride will make you miss your God-given blessing! Be humble!

2 Kings 5:7-12;

[7]When the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his clothes in dismay and said, “This man sends me a l***r to heal! Am I God that I can give life and take it away? I can see that he’s just trying to pick a fight with me.”
[8]But when Elisha, the man of God, heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes in dismay, he sent this message to him: “Why are you so upset? Send Naaman to me, and he will learn that there is a true prophet here in Israel.”
[9]So Naaman went with his horses and chariots and waited at the door of Elisha’s house.
[10]But Elisha sent a messenger out to him with this message: “Go and wash yourself seven times in the Jordan River. Then your skin will be restored, and you will be healed of your leprosy.”
[11]But Naaman became angry and stalked away. “I thought he would certainly come out to meet me!” he said. “I expected him to wave his hand over the leprosy and call on the name of the Lord his God and heal me!
[12]Aren’t the rivers of Damascus, the Abana, and the Pharpar, better than any of the rivers of Israel? Why shouldn’t I wash in them and be healed?” So Naaman turned and went away in a rage.

Beloved, Naaman almost missed his blessing of being cleansed of his leprosy by the servant of God. When he was given an instruction which in his hearing sounded too ordinary and too mundane, he got angry and protested. He thought and said to himself that they had better rivers where he came from in Damascus and so wondered why he was to dip himself in a dirty river. Little did he know that much as there were clean rivers in his country, there were no prophets to instruct there but in Samaria. Don't be too quick to react negatively to instructions. Think through instructions and carry them out. At times, the Holy Spirit will instruct you to lay down on a dirty floor with your best suit. Just go ahead and do it. It might be what you need for that breakthrough. God might want to give you more than a suit once the instruction is followed. Be sensitive and honour divine instructions, though they may look foolish and ordinary. Don't react like Naaman, who almost missed his blessing due to pride! Shalom, and have a blessed weekend!

Here is your Word for today:

Verse: Romans 8:1

‘There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.’

– As His children we can now enjoy His favour and blessing on our lives.
– He came to remove the guilt and the shame.
– In Him we have the hope of a better way, without condemnation.
– He wants to transform our lives and make His presence a reality.

Prayer: Lord, thank You that I do not need to live under condemnation and guilt. You have come to remove the stain of sin so that I can live in relationship with You and enjoy Your lovingkindness towards me. Amen.

Have an awesome weekend!!!

1Galatians:5.1
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

This freedom Sunday the Lord has set you free to be present in his presence. Let not the evil ones drives you all away from his presence.

Found yourself in God's house and shame the devil. May this day brings freedom, peace, togetherness and happiness in your homes, communities and churches in the blessed name of our Lord Jesus.

Here is your Word for today 31/7/2024

Verse: Romans 8:26

‘In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness.’

- In our moments of weakness the Holy Spirit steps in to help us.
- When we don’t know what to do or how to do it, He will show us the way.
- You are never alone in the struggles you are facing, because He is with you.
- Child of God, let the Lord guide you, comfort you and empower you as you trust in Him.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit Who is with me to help me in every situation and in every challenge. When I do not know what to do, I will call on You and rely on Your support and strength to see me through. Amen.

Have a blessed Wednesday.
