"BRINGING GREAT JOY TO YOUR FELLOW BELIEVERS!"... Philemon 7-9. God wants you to bring great joy and consolation to the brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ, like Philemon did. 1) Know What Joy Is: Joy is "a feeling of great pleasure and happiness". This is what joy is and that is what you must bring to your fellow believers. Don't bring pain to your fellow believers. 2) Know That You Can Bring Great Joy To Your Fellow Believers: {See also Philemon 7}. You can bring great joy and consolation to your fellow believers. This is something you can purpose to do and it's something you must do. 3) Know How To Bring Joy To Your Fellow Believers: It is clear that you can bring great joy to your fellow believers. But be mindful that if you don't know how to do things correctly, it is possible for your joy also to be turned into heaviness. {See also James 4:9}. To bring great joy to your fellow believers {a} Love Them- Loving your fellow believers will bring joy to them {b} Refresh Them- Do things that shall make life easier for your fellow believers. This will bring great joy to them {c} Rise Up To Positions Of Authority- When you arise in authority and you work to better the lives of fellow believers and everyone else at large, you shall bring them great joy. {See also Proverbs 29:2}. 4) Know The Power Of Bringing Joy To Your Fellow Believers: {See also Philemon 8-9}. When you bring great joy to people, no one will order you around. People will instead appeal to you out of love like Paul did to Philemon. Any hurt that you may happen to cause to anyone shall be clearly testified of as being unintentional. [Excerpt from one of Rev KJCs Sunday Morning teachings at church in 2018]
