CHIEF APOSTLE JEAN-LUC SCHNEIDER’S ANNUAL NEW YEAR'S ADDRESS

With only a day to go to the new year, over 9 million members of the New Apostolic Church globally are yet again expectant of the annual address by the Chief Apostle.

Whether watched on a smart phone, tablet, television or listened to on radio, one thing is for sure, the Chief Apostle will address the members of the Church as he usually does. In a special article by Andreas Rother of the New Apostolic Church International (NACI), a preview of how the address will be has been highlighted as it has already been recorded and ready to be published on New Year's day.

The 2025 motto has also been given, "IT'S TIME TO DO GOOD". The Chief Apostle is further expected to give more details in his address about the meaning and inspiration behind the 2025 motto.

District Apostle Kububa Soko adds that, like many other New Apostolic Church members globally, he is highly expectant of the address by the Chief Apostle. He adds that the motto could not have come at a better time as it focuses on doing good.

"I'm also very expectant and eagerly await to hear the address by the Chief Apostle. I'm happy that the motto has been given and we can already tell that we are called to do good as God's children. Let us all pray for our dear Chief Apostle and as he continues to lead us in our spiritual journey and let us all wait patiently for his address", he said.

District Apostle Kububa Soko following the published article by the New Apostolic Church International directed the Communications and Corporate Affairs team at the Head Offices in Lusaka to design a befitting logo for the motto for 2025.

Below is the designed logo approved for usage in the DAA28 for 2025.

Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider is on 1st January 2025, expected to address New Apostolic Church members globally in his annual New Year's message.

[FUNERAL NOTICE] APOSTLE ZACCHEUS MWEETWA (ir) PASSES ON

District Apostle Kububa Soko has learnt with sadness the passing on of Apostle Zaccheus Mweetwa in retirement. The District Apostle has confirmed that Apostle Mweetwa (ir) passed on this evening following an illness.

The District Apostle has conveyed his message of condolences to the bereaved family.

He adds that the late Apostle (ir) was a pioneer of God's work in Choma and surrounding areas where he (Apostle Mweetwa) served as an Apostle.

The District Apostle further added that Apostle Mweetwa (ir) remained faithful to God and to the New Apostolic Church even in his retirement.

The District Apostle adds that he remembers the Apostle Mweetwa (ir) as an active member especially with attending Divine Services, "Apostle Mweetwa (ir) would always be in Divine Services and I remember my last encounter with him was during the Youth Service I conducted in Kabumbwe on Sunday 20th October 2024 in Choma, indeed he will be fondly missed", the District Apostle said.

Apostle Zaccheus Mweetwa (ir) was born on September 26th, 1940.

More details on his burial will follow later.

The motto contest for the year 2024 is finally here!

Our motto for 2024 is ‘Prayer works,’ this is based on the following Bible verse and thoughts of our Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider: “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5: 17).
