Topic: YOU ARE HEAVENLY (Your Life On Earth Ought To Be Heavenly)

"The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven." 1 Corinthians 14:47

Our opening scripture shows us that there two kinds of men, two generations, as it were, on earth, the GENERATION OF EARTHLY MEN, and THE GENERATION OF HEAVENLY MEN; those from BENEATH, and those from ABOVE; THE HUMAN-KIND and THE GOD-KIND. It's important that you know who you are and where you are from.

ADAM IS THE PROGENITOR OF THE HUMAN RACE, the earthly generation.

JESUS IS THE PROGENITOR OF THE CHOSEN GENERATION, the heavenly men.

It says, "As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly" (1 Corinthians 15:48). Lets look at the words of Jesus to Nicodemus in John 3:3, "... I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, FROM ABOVE), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God." (AMPC)

This shows us that THE PERSON WHO IS BORN AGAIN IS BORN FROM ABOVE - he is not an ordinary person; he is not a terrestrial being, HE IS A CELESTIAL BEING.

Like Jesus, YOU ARE ABOVE THE SYSTEM OF THIS WORLD, you are not subject to what earthly people are subject to, you are not a partaker of their curses, their bo***ge, or their manner of life: "He that cometh from above is above all...he that cometh from heaven is above all." (John 3:31). 1 John 4:17 says that as Jesus is in heaven, so are you, in this world. Hallelujah!

1 Corinthians 15:49, says, "Therefore as we have borne the image of the earthly, LET US BEAR ALSO THE IMAGE OF THE HEAVENLY" ( DRB). The old is gone, and the new has come. We are a new creation. Let us bear the image of the heavenly. Lets walk in the light of who we really are. Lets enjoy the heavenly life on earth.

Topic: YOU CAN START SMALL, BUT DON'T REMAIN SMALL (Despise Mediocrity, Not Humble Beginnings)

"He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much."
Luke 16:10

Don't despise little things, they are tests for big things. Don't look down on humble beginnings, they can be beginnings of big things.

Handle small things with proper care and diligence and soon enough you will have more things to handle.

Do small things well, and you will soon be trusted with big things.

And when you can't get yourself to do big things, do small things in a big way, that's the best way to develop your ability to do big things.

No matter what, never think where you start is where you will finish; the beginning is not the end. It's okay to start small, what is not okay is remaining small. Start small but grow big. Despise mediocrity, not humble beginnings.

Have you started something this year? It doesn't matter how small it is, hear the word of the Lord: "Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase." (Job 8:7).

CONFESSION

I am a success. Everything I do turns into success. I cannot fail. Nothing remains small in my hands. My hands are blessed hands. Hallelujah!

Topic: YOU CAN HAVE WHAT YOU WANT (Here Is How)

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." Psalm 23:1

My dear friend, what do you want? A better life? A life that is free from sin and condemnation? Or maybe healing for your body, freedom from oppression or supply for your needs? No matter what you want, it can all come to you if you do two things:

1. ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR LORD. Your life must belong to Him, and to Him alone if He will take care of it.

Confess Him as Lord and owner of your life and believe that God raised Him from the dead and this shall be settled. (Romans 10:9).

2. ALLOW HIM TO BE YOUR SHEPHERD. You must follow Him, His principles; Him and His only, for He can not take care of you if you are not under His care.

Let Him guide you with the voice of His word. And let Him have the submission of your will.

If you do these two things, it doesn't matter what you want and where you find yourself in life, YOU SHALL NOT WANT!

Topic: ABOUND IN THIS GRACE ALSO (Crave & Desire To Increase It)

"Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye ABOUND IN THIS GRACE ALSO." 2 Corinthians 8:7

There are different types of graces that bring different manifestations and different abilities to a child of God. Here, Paul wanted these Christians to abound "in this grace also" what grace was he talking about? The grace of giving.

Giving is a grace. When this grace is at work in your life, it makes you give and receive freely. Those who don't have this grace at work in them find it hard to give and very difficult to receive. "You are rich in everything-in faith, in speaking, in knowledge, in truly wanting to help, and in the love you learned from us. In the same way, be strong also in THE GRACE OF GIVING." (2 Corinthians 8:7, NCV).

Giving is a grace that releases supernatural supply. Paul called it "giving and receiving" in Philippians 4:15, because after it has caused you to give, it makes it possible for you to receive much more. These Christians at Philippi had given to Paul and to his ministry. Paul told them that in response to their giving, God was going to supply their every need (Philippians 4:15-19).

Giving is a grace that gives one access to many other graces, favour, and earthly blessings. The Bible says, "Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, "prompt to do it") giver [whose heart is in his giving]." (2 Corinthians 9:7 AMPC). Topic: THE ONLY WAY OUT IS UP (Look Up & Come Out...)

Are you in a ditch of depression, debt, or any kind of trouble? The only way out of a ditch is UP, not down, not sideways - up! Therefore, turn your eyes, hands, and mind away from men, and lift them up to the only One who can LIFT YOU OUT.

Don't look sideways; your help is not from men.

Don't look down; that's not where you want to go.

Look up! Look unto Jesus, the King on the throne. He is your help and your salvation. Behold yourself in Him, for you are in Him, far above what you face. If you can see yourself in Him, no negative situation can keep you down; you will find yourself enjoying all that He is and all that He has in Him - living the higher life. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

No matter what I face, my eyes are on Jesus. I behold myself in Him. In Him, I am a victor and not a victim. In Him, I am more than a conquerer. In Him, I am far above every negative situation. Hallelujah!

Topic: BURN & SHINE (Be Extremely Zealous For God)

“He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.” John 5:35

What a description the Lord gave of John the Baptist. And He wants you to fit into the same description: "A burning and a shining light."

Every Christian is the light of the world, but not every light is burning and shining. Some lights are cool and dull. He wants you to burn and shine. Hallelujah!

Not every work is done with a burning heart; some works are done with coldness of heart. God doesn’t want such works. He doesn’t want cold worship. He doesn’t want cold prayers or anything cold. He wants the kind that are burning and shining.

When you are burning and shining, other people will rejoice in your light, they will see with it, and will be warmed by it. Your light will benefit others in a wonderful way.

When you are burning and shining, no evil can touch you. Anyone can touch a cold vessel, but who can touch one that's very hot? Satan doesn't touch those who are burning and shining for God. Hallelujah!

You burn and shine by sustaining your zeal for God through intimacy with God, consistency in word meditation, and practical Christian living.

CONFESSION

I am a burning and a shining light, a blessing to many, and an addicted God pleaser. The wicked one can not touch me. Hallelujah!
