Sunday Service
“ YOUR NAME MUST CHANGE “
Speaker : Pastor Sitali
Text : Genesis 32:24-32
Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day. Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob’s hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him. And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.”
But he said, “I will not let You go unless You bless me!” So He said to him, “What is your name?”
He said, “Jacob.”
And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.”
Then Jacob asked, saying, “Tell me Your name, I pray.”
And He said, “Why is it that you ask about My name?” And He blessed him there.
So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: “For I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” Just as he crossed over Penuel the sun rose on him, and he limped on his hip. Therefore to this day the children of Israel do not eat the muscle that shrank, which is on the hip socket, because He touched the socket of Jacob’s hip in the muscle that shrank.”

Genesis 35:9-10
“Who told you who you are? Names carry identity, history, and meaning. Often, names or labels are given to us by parents, past circumstances, or what people have known us for. But your true, authentic identity comes from God—not the opinions of others. Real validation is found in Christ, who gives us a name that aligns with His goodness.

Key Insights from the Word
* Transformation Starts Within: When you are born again, a name change isn't just a label; it's marked by a genuine transformation of the heart.
* Keep Wrestling, Morning is Coming: You might be in a midnight season of wrestling with your past or your identity—just like Jacob—but don't give up! Your new name and breakthrough are coming in the morning.
* A Fresh Start: When God asks for your name, He already knows it. He asks to remind you of where you’ve been so He can show you where you are going. He renames you to grant a fresh, unhindered start.
Why Does God Change Your Name?
* A Change of Season: A new name marks a shift in your character, your speech, and how you carry yourself.
* A New Assignment: He renames you to entrust you with greater responsibility and a higher calling.
* A Change of Purpose: It pulls you out of your past and aligns you directly with your God-given destiny.

When God steps in and renames you, it doesn't matter what the world used to call you. Overcome the world, step into your new season, and live in the fullness of your true identity in Christ! 🙌🔥

Sunday Service
“ EXCELLENCE THE SPICE FOR HARVEST “
Speaker : Professor Zulu
Text : Matthew 25:31-41
“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: ”

Matthew 5:14-16
“ You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do theylight a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Key Takeaways & Reflections
What "Spices" Add Value to Our Christian Walk?
Just as spices enhance the quality of food, our character defines our impact as believers. How Are We Spicing Up Our Walk as Believers?

1. Ability to Attract People: How do people react to your attitude? Do they want to spend time around you? Our attitude speaks volumes about our faith.
2. Visibility: Being the light of the world means standing out and letting your light shine so others can see God through you.
3. Compassionate: Having the heart and ability to respond to and support fellow Christians.
4. Memorable Impact: Breaking free from hidden "prisons" like phone addiction, social media distractions, and gossip so we can make a lasting, positive mark on others.
5. Why Do We Need Good Food? Just as physical food sustains us, spiritually good food feeds our souls to bring growth, hope, and healing.

Freeing Ourselves First: We must pay close attention to the invisible "prisons" in our lives—such as social media, phone addiction, or gossip. Before we can extend a hand to help friends out of their struggles, we need to reflect, meet with ourselves, and address our own prisons first.

Many of us are searching for healing, growth, and hope—whether spiritually or physically. Let’s ensure we are feeding our minds and spirits with what truly restores us so we can shine as the light of the world !

Sunday Service
“The Significance of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit “
Speaker: Pastor Bernard Banda
Text: Luke 3:16

“John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”

Key Takeaways & Reflection
* Seek Spiritual Understanding: Our goal this month is to delve deep into understanding the mystery of the Holy Spirit and unlock everything the Lord has prepared for us through it.
* Evidence of His Presence: Knowing who the Holy Spirit is brings tangible fruit—not only speaking in tongues, but also learning to discipline and tame our tongue.
* Open Your Heart to Receive: Sometimes we feel a lack of spiritual clarity or information, not because God hasn't provided it, but because we haven't actively positioned ourselves to receive what’s already been given.

Core Truths to Remember
1. A Continuous Promise: What God promised in the Old Testament (Joel 2:28), Jesus confirmed before His ascension—promising that the Spirit would descend upon each and every person.
2. The Assurance of Baptism: When you accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior, you are guaranteed the promise and experience of Holy Spirit baptism.
3. Walk in Purpose: To live effectively and walk in victory throughout your life, you must understand and yield to the Holy Spirit’s role in ALL that you do!

Reflection Question: How are you actively inviting the Holy Spirit to guide your daily actions and words today? Let us know in the comments below! 👇
