Theme ; Love is greater that the greatest Faith

The scriptures reminds us that love is greater than the kind of faith that can move mountains, the only faith that is acceptable unto the lord and the faith that pleases him is the faith that works through love, yes your faith maybe able to move mountains but if it doesn't involve love then God isn't the one pushing those mountains it means you have disconnected yourself from him , why ?
Because we mentioned earlier that the bible defines love as God ..
So you can speak of faith minus love it means you are speaking faith minus God and this means a disconnecting process of yourself from God.
Let us stand still our God is a loving father and that is what makes him more exceptional, it's love that moves him and his love aren't basic feelings, its unconditional..
Let us keep on seeking God and asking him to feel our hearts with love , because this is the way we can guard our heart, as the bible says the heart of man is desperately wicked and the one way we can remove that desperation of wickedness from it is when we are filled with love by God.
may God help us all . AMEN

Bible reading: Matthew 22 : 37 to 38

" Jesus said unto him, you shall love the Lord your God with all yout heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind." This is the greatest and most important command given to us to love our God..and many of us we say we love God but in the actual sense that's not the case..now you may ask yourself how then can I love God or show that I love God
You know bear with me this thar when we love someone be it our parents, friends or partners we tend to do things they say makes them happy..same applies here when you say you love God you must show it they the life you live ,must follow what he say even if it's not convenient to us why because that's what will make him happy ..
We must live in accordance to how he wants us to live ..we must show this love to people around us coz that what makes him and this will help us build a stronger relationship with our God .

Theme : Love covers and magnitude of sin
Bible reading; 1 peter 4 vs 8.

Love Indeed does cover a magnitude of sin, just look at us because God loved us He washed away all the sin that was committed through the blood of his one and only son..
same applies to us we have been hurt ,we have been wronged by friends, families, people from our neighborhood and probably our parents, but just look what God did for us and why can't we forgive them because of the love of God that we say is within us...
If we say we love God then we must understand that the love of God doesn't hold grudges, it doesn't keep record of the wrongs, it's patient and it's kind, in the same way our sins where covered by the love of God let us also forgive our friends, families, parents and neighbors by loving them as we have been commanded to love our neighbors just the way we love ourselves..
In the same way when we do wrong we forgive ourselves because we love ourselves let it be so towards our brothers and sisters

Bible reading; 1Corinthians 13 vs 1 - 3

Theme: Love the greatest

Many of us are so envious of wanting to perform miracles, to prophesy ,to sing and many more things that we thing they carry weight...
When you read 1 Corinthians 13 vs 1 to 3, you will realize that even if you do all these things you perform miracles if you do it without love then you are doing it in vain, oh yes this is the power that is in love....

You may be committed to church and taking part in church services , you may be preaching, you may have an angelic voice but the word of God says if all you are doing it minus love then it's nothing, work done is equal to zero...
Our God is a merciful God deutronomy 30 vs 6 tells us that God will circumcise our heart and fill us with his love , this shows that we can only be filled with this love by the help of God..

Let us make it our daily prayer that God fills us with his love so that whatever we do pleases Him, so that we also may not labor in vain, may God himself help us
