WITH HEAVY HEARTS: MOURNING OUR BELOVED PRAISE DIRECTOR, MRS. ESNART PHIRI
To the family of our dear sister, the leadership, and our cherished Praise Team at Peniel City Miracle Centre (AFMZ),
It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we write to you today. Last evening, at approximately 18:00 hours, our beloved sister, mother, and friend, Mrs Esnart Phiri, transitioned to be with the Lord.
The silence left by her passing is deafening. To the family, we acknowledge the immense void this leaves in your lives. Please know that you are not walking this path of grief alone; the entire congregation wraps you in our arms and holds you up in prayer. We weep with you, we stand with you, and we mourn the loss of a woman whose heart beat in rhythm with the heavens.
To our Praise Team, we know this loss cuts deeply. You were her family in ministry, her teammates in worship, and the ones who witnessed the true depth of her dedication. Esnart did not just lead us in songs; she led us into the presence of the Almighty. Her passion for worship was a fire that lit up our sanctuary, and while that light has moved from our altar to the eternal choir above, her influence remains etched in this church's foundation.
We are all shattered by this news, but we lean on the promise that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We take comfort in knowing that she is now in the greatest worship service of all, in the presence of the Saviour she served so faithfully.
May the God of all comfort, who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, sustain the Phiri family, our leadership, and the entire Praise Team during this agonising time.
We will forever cherish her life, her voice, and her unwavering devotion to God.
