Biblical church Government and Administration.

Acts 6:3-4

3 Therefore, brothers, pick out from among you seven men of good repute, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we will appoint to this duty. 4 But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

The Adminstrative task was not taken lightly. Notice the requirements of men who were to handle the food program:full of the holy spirit and wisdoms. People who carry heavy responsibilities and work closely with others should have these qualities. We must look for spiritually mature and wise men and women to lead God's Church.
The Apostle's priority were correct.

The ministry of the word should never be neglected because of administration burden. In simple terms, Pastor should not try or be expected to try,to do everything. Instead, the the work of the church should be spread out among it's members.Spiritual leadership is a serious business and must not be taken lightly by the church or it's leaders.

STAND TALL IN A FALLING WORLD

“Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied to the king, ‘We do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and He will rescue us from your hand, O king. But even if He does not, we want you to know that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.’” — Daniel 3:16–18

Every generation faces moments where the pressure to fit in becomes stronger than the desire to obey God. In Babylon, an entire nation bowed before a golden image when the music played, yet three men remained standing. While the crowd surrendered to fear, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego chose faithfulness over compromise. Their boldness did not appear suddenly; it was the result of a life already devoted to God long before the furnace was prepared.

These men understood that pleasing God mattered more than gaining approval from people. They realized the flames could harm their bodies, but disobedience could damage their relationship with God. True faith is proven when following God comes with a cost. Anyone can worship in comfort, but steadfast faith shines brightest in difficult moments.

The world often praises what God warns against, but truth has never been decided by popularity. These three Hebrews stood in the middle of a crowd that bowed down, showing that conviction is stronger than public opinion. Culture may pressure believers to compromise, but the presence of God gives strength to remain firm.

Even today, the world creates modern idols that compete for our worship. For some, it is money. For others, it is status, success, relationships, or the desire to be accepted. Anything that takes the place of God in our hearts becomes an idol. The spirit of Babylon still speaks whenever society demands compromise in exchange for approval.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to kneel because their hearts already belonged fully to God.

We cannot truly express love until we have experienced it for ourselves. The only way anyone can continually show love no matter the response from the recipient is if they have been fully transformed by the love of Jesus Christ. His is the example that will shape every relationship in our lives ... because of His unconditional love.

Lilanda Baptist church yesterday received God's word from the book of Haggai 1:2-9 ESV on a subject "THE LORD'S CALL TO REBUILD THE TEMPLE".

The children of Isreal are out of captivity and have been commanded to rebuild the temple destroyed by King Nebuchadnezzar.

They forget God's directive and begin to build their own beautiful houses.God reminds them through the Prophet Haggai to rebuild the temple and promises them that the glory of the temple to come will be much more greater than the former temple.Because the people had not given God first place in their lives, their work was not fruitful or productive and their material possession did not satisfy.While they concentrated on building and beautifying their homes, God's blessings was withheld.

It is easy to make other priorities more important than doing God's work.But God wants us to follow through and build up his kingdom.We shouldn't stop and make excuses.We are to set our hearts on what is right and do it.We should get our priorities right.

The elders of Lilanda Baptist church had an interactive conversation with the Baptist convention of Zambia (BCZ) General secretary (GS) Rev Ngosa Kaluba who is touring associations to share the four(4) years vision the Baptist convention of Zambia plan to undergo.

The General secretary was today holding a meeting with Lusaka Baptist churches association (LBCA) and Lusaka North Baptist churches association (LNBCA) which took place at Sunnyside Baptist church.

The strength of the church is not in numbers, but in unity.

God does not measure the power of a church by how many people attend, but by how united the believers are in faith, love, and purpose. A small church that walks together in obedience to Christ can be stronger than a large church divided by pride, conflict, or selfishness. True strength comes when believers serve one another, forgive one another, and focus on glorifying God together.

Unity reflects the heart of Christ. When the church stands united, it becomes a powerful testimony to the world and a place where spiritual growth flourishes. Division weakens, but unity builds, heals, and advances God’s work.

• Psalm 133:1 — “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”

• Ephesians 4:3 — “Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”

• 1 Corinthians 1:10 — “That ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you.”

Bishop Hopeson Phiri and the entire leadership of Lilanda Baptist church wishes the Baptist convention of Zambia women who are in Kasenengwa—Eastern province, God's grace and blessings even as they worship God together.

Bishop Phiri said that he is reminded of how Women have been a backbone and Major contributors to the spreading of the Gospel to the lost world working side by side with men.

To the leadership of BWZ, Bishop and his leadership wishes you well even as you endeavors to make Him and His completed works known—God.
