*Greetings dear Parents and Guardians* .

Today with the Adventurers present we have learnt the *Six(6)* categories of adventurer awards namely;
1. *Crafts*
2. *Home*
3. *Nature*
4. *Spiritual*
5. *Recreation* and
6. *Community* .
The above categories are where all the adventurer activities revolve.

We picked one category which is *"Home"* it consists of *22* Awards and to kick start, we the adventurers have learnt *two* awards today which are
1. Home Helper I
2. Home Helper II

Refer to the below pictures for updating the Adventurers who never attended today's class.

We have also picked 3 roles each adventurer should do at least 4 times this week at home as follows;
1. Helping Washing plates
2. Cooking
3. Sweeping
The above *3 roles* falls under the two awards learnt today, we kindly appeal to parents to remind, monitor, and encourage them.

Our objective is to have an Adventurers awards day at the end of our calendar year as planned on the time management.

We join you in bringing up your children with happy hearts.

FUNERAL UPDATE.

Kindly take note that the remains of Sr. Mercy Chinyama will be put to rest on Monday in Chirundu.
Church services will be done on Sunday at Mandevu Main Church, after that the remains will be transported to *Chirundu.*
Members are encouraged to visit the funeral house.
We will spend a night at the funeral house on *Saturday* , however we will meet at the funeral house tonight up to 22:00 .
Let us remember the family in our prayers.

This serves to announce the untimely demise of Sr. Mercy Chinyama of Chaisa South SDA Church under Mandevu Mission District.
Sr. Chinyama died in the early hours of 07/01/2026 at Levy Mwanawasa Teaching Hospital.
Before her death, she was an active member of our church who served the church in various capacities including as Deaconess, Usher, active member in the redemption church choir and dorcas.
The church is really saddened by her passing.
A funeral gathering is at her house behind Chaisa South SDA Church..
