SUMMARY UPDATE: TRAVEL TO IBENGA (COPPERBELT PROVINCE) FOR THE FUNERAL OF FAITH YAMBA WHO WENT TO BE WITH THE LORD.
On 6th April 2026, our beloved sister Faith Yamba, a committed Baptist Young Lady from Galilea Baptist Church, went to be with the Lord. The burial took place on 8th April 2026 in Ibenga, Copperbelt Province.
I, Rev. Samson Mwanza, together with fellow church leaders and the Baptist Young Ladies team, travelled to Ibenga to mourn with and comfort the Yamba family. During our time there, we offered spiritual and emotional support through prayer, fellowship, and active participation in the funeral and burial proceedings.
I had the privilege of preaching the gospel of hope in Jesus Christ during the funeral service. We thank God that through the message, several people responded and gave their lives to Christ.
The visit was deeply impactful, bringing comfort to the bereaved family and reflecting the love and unity of the body of Christ.

Your prayers, encouragement, and financial contributions towards the funeral and travel arrangements made it possible for the delegation to attend and support the family.
