TO ALL CHURCH MEMBERS in EVERY CHURCH: THE LOCAL CHURCH PASTOR, YOUR HERO.
•Did you know that God holds your local church Pastor and leadership responsible over your overall spiritual wellbeing?
Your favourite Social Media trending Pastor has no responsibility over your life. When you find yourself in a situation, it will be your local Pastor, leadership and church that will stand with you.
•Did you know that your local church Pastor is tasked as a "steward" over your soul? And as such he prays for you and "watches" over you. He or she carrys you as a burden on himself. Your trending, sensational, Social Media Pastor does not even know you. And has no business knowing you.
•Did you know that your local church Pastor knows you and as a sheep in his sheep-fold he prays for you and bears concern over you?
This is something your favourite Social Media Preacher cannot do for you. Coz he's got no attachment or business with you.
•You can listen to any other Preacher on Social Media but the word of your local church Pastor should be the last word over your life. So "recognise his / her "authority" over you.
•When you recognise your Pastor, when you obey and submit to him, when you support him / her in spirit and in kind, such a Pastor will do his work with "joy". And that, will be very beneficial to you. Otherwise, if your Pastor is complaining and not happy because of your disturbances and confusions,
it would not be good for you!
•You can follow and enjoy any foreign Pastor or any Pastor on Social Media but your obedience, submission, support and allegiance must be to your local church Pastor. Because when the going gets tough it is him or her who will stand with you.
•If you ever feel that you no longer believe in your local church Pastor's teachings and you prefare your foreign or Social Media guru, you must leave that church, in peace and respect, and join your virtual guru's church. This is very important; than stay in a church where you no long respect the Pastor. You may end up causing "problems" and the Pastor will be complaining about you and that would not be good for you.
Now, read the scriptures below. This scripture is a summary of all I have said above.
Hebrews 13:17 AMP
Obey your [spiritual] leaders and submit to them [recognizing their authority over you], for they are keeping watch over your souls and continually guarding your spiritual welfare as those who will give an account [of their stewardship of you]. Let them do this with joy and not with grief and groans, for this would be of no benefit to you.
