"Dear beloved brothers and sisters of Mitete District,
As I bid farewell to this wonderful community, my heart is filled with gratitude, love, and appreciation. I have been privileged to serve as your District Pastor, and I must say, it has been an incredible journey.
I want to express my deepest thanks to each and every one of you for the love, support, and kindness you showed me during my tenure. Your warmth, hospitality, and generosity made me feel at home, and I will always cherish the memories we created together.
As I move on to my new role as a Chaplain, I pray that the same spirit of love, unity, and cooperation that we shared will continue to flourish under the leadership of my successor. May God bless and guide our new pastor as he shepherd this wonderful flock.
I must confess that I had grown to love this district and its people so much that I wished to continue serving here. However, God's ways are not our ways, and I trust that His plan is perfect.
As we part ways, I leave you with a verse from Philippians 1:3-6, which says:
"I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
May this verse be a reminder of the incredible work God has begun in Mitete District, and may we continue to pray for its growth and prosperity.
If we don't meet again on this earth, let us look forward to that glorious day when we shall meet in heaven.
Farewell, dear Mitete District! May God richly bless and prosper you.
With love and appreciation,
Kapami Mubita,
Former District Pastor, Mitete Mission District".
