Theme: Your Enemies Can’t Stop the Timing of God

Scripture: Habakkuk 2:3
"For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."

Beloved, David was hunted by Saul, betrayed by friends, and opposed by enemies, yet none of them could stop the timing of God. When the appointed time came, the elders of Israel anointed him king over all twelve tribes.

Your enemies may plot against you, delay you, or try to discourage you, but they cannot cancel what God has ordained. The timing of God is unstoppable. What He has spoken over your life will come to pass, not a moment too early, not a second too late.

Every setback is only a setup for God’s perfect plan. Every opposition is only proof that something great is on the horizon. When the fullness of time arrives, no enemy, no circumstance, no failure can stand in the way of God’s purpose for you. Hallelujah!

Prayer for Tonight
“Father, I thank You that no enemy can stop Your timing in my life. I trust that every promise You have spoken will come to pass at the appointed time. Strengthen me to wait with faith and patience, knowing that Your plan cannot be delayed or destroyed. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Evening Devotion – 23/07/2026

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 10:11
“All these things happened to them as examples—as object lessons to us—to warn us against doing the same things; they were written down so that we could read about them and learn from them.”

Theme: Object Lessons

Beloved in Christ, the Word of God is filled with timeless object lessons meant to guide and strengthen us. Consider the life of Moses. If he were teaching in a classroom Tonight (today), his testimony would echo: “It’s never too late to fulfill your God-given dreams. At eighty years old, tending sheep in the desert, I thought my mistakes had disqualified me. But then God appeared in a burning bush and called me to deliver two million Israelites from Pharaoh. Though I stuttered and felt intimidated, faith and fire rose within me. I stepped out, and God did the unimaginable.”

Take this lesson to heart: God does not abandon you because of past failures. He has not forgotten you in your desert season. What He began in your life, He will surely bring to completion. It may have been delayed, but it is not denied. Rise up, rekindle your fire, restore your passion, for the promise still stands. Hallelujah!

Prayer for Tonight
“Father, thank You that Your plans for me are unfolding in Your perfect timing. Thank You that Your favor is not limited to a season but rests upon my entire life. I declare that my mistakes cannot cancel Your mercy, and my eyes are fixed on Your goodness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Evening Devotion – 22/07/2026

Scripture: Colossians 3:15
“And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.”

Theme: Let Peace Rule Your Heart

Beloved in Christ Jesus, the story in Acts 12 reminds us of Peter’s remarkable calm in the face of death. After James was killed, Peter was imprisoned and awaiting trial. By all human reasoning, he should have been restless, anxious, and overwhelmed. Yet Peter chose to let the peace of Christ rule in his heart. Fear knocked, but he refused to open the door. He trusted that his God was still in control.

So peaceful was Peter that the angel sent to deliver him had to wake him up! This is the kind of supernatural calm that comes when we allow Christ’s peace to govern our thoughts. It is not the absence of storms, but the presence of Christ in the storm that makes the difference.

When we discipline our minds not to dwell on what could go wrong, when we refuse to magnify the problem above God’s promises, peace takes over. Instead of sleepless nights filled with worry, we rest in the assurance that Christ is Lord over every circumstance. Truly, His peace surpasses all understanding. Hallelujah!

“Father, thank You for the peace of Christ that rules and guards my heart. I choose to shut the door to fear, anxiety, and worry. I refuse to be moved by circumstances or the opinions of others. I declare that I will walk in Your peace and remain thankful in all things. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Evening Devotion: 21/07/2026

Theme: I Am the Will of God

Life may bring challenges, disappointments, and seasons of lack, but none of these define you. Your true identity is rooted in God’s purpose. You are not here by accident, you are living by His grace, chosen and sustained by His will.
As Christians we need to know that: -

- Hardship: Yes, life can be hard, but you are the will of God. His strength is perfected in your weakness.
- Disappointment: Your partner may fail you, but you are the will of God. His love never fails.
- Lack of money: You may live without wealth, but you are the will of God. His provision is greater than riches.
- Mistakes: You may stumble, but you are the will of God. His mercy restores and redeems.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, your existence is not defined by circumstances, failures, or human approval. You are alive because of God’s grace, and that alone makes your life meaningful. When storms rise, declare boldly: “I am the will of God.” This truth silences fear, strengthens faith, and reminds you that your destiny is secure in Him. Hallelujah

Prayer for Tonight

Father, thank You for reminding me that I am Your will. Even when life is hard, when people disappoint me, when resources run dry, or when I make mistakes, Your grace sustains me. I declare that I am living not by my strength, but by Your purpose. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Evening Devotion – 20/07/2026

Scripture: Exodus 7:3–5
“But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and though I multiply my signs and wonders in Egypt, he will not listen to you.…And the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD when I stretch out my hand against Egypt and bring the Israelites out of it.”

Theme: Why the Increased Pressure?

Beloved in Christ, when God sent Moses to confront Pharaoh, Moses wrestled with insecurity and intimidation. He felt unqualified for the task, yet God deliberately hardened Pharaoh’s heart, making him more resistant. Why? Because the adversity was not meant to defeat Moses, it was meant to magnify God’s power. The greater the opposition, the greater the miracle of deliverance.

In our own lives, God sometimes opens a door, then allows pressure to rise, setbacks, betrayals, closed opportunities. Like Moses, we may feel overwhelmed. But take heart: the intensified pressure is not a sign of failure, it is a divine setup. God is preparing to reveal His glory in an extraordinary way. What feels like crushing weight will soon be transformed into supernatural strength. Hallelujah!

“Father, thank You that every obstacle is an opportunity for You to display Your power. I trust that the increase of pressure is not to break me, but to set the stage for Your greater glory. Let my life be a testimony that others may see Your hand at work. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Evening Devotion 19/07/2026

Theme: You Are Crossing to the Other Side

Scripture: Mark 4:35
"That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, ‘Let us go over to the other side.’" —

Life is a journey, and often God calls us to move from one season into another. Crossing to the other side means leaving behind fear, doubt, and stagnation, limitations, hate and stepping into His promises of victory, peace, and destiny. Brothers and Sisters in let us have:-

- Faith in transition: Just as the disciples crossed the sea with Jesus, trust Him to carry you through storms into new territory.
- Letting go: To reach the other side, you must release the burdens of the past and embrace God’s future.
- Divine guidance: God does not call you to cross alone; His presence goes before you and sustains you.
- New beginnings: The other side represents fresh opportunities, breakthroughs, and the fulfillment of His promises.

Beloved, crossing to the other side may involve storms, uncertainty, or resistance. But Jesus is in the boat with you. The waves may roar, but His Word calms the sea. The other side is not just a destination, it is a place of growth, transformation, and testimony. Hallelujah

Prayer for Tonight
Lord, thank You for calling me to cross over. Strengthen my faith to trust You in the storm. Help me to let go of the past and embrace the new season You have prepared for me, in Jesus Christ name. Amen.

Evening Devotion – 18/07/2026

Scripture: Exodus 34:13
"But you shall tear down their altars, break their sacred pillars, and cut down their wooden images."

Theme: Destroying Evil Altars

Altars are spiritual gateways, places of covenant, sacrifice, and influence. In the Bible, altars raised to the Lord brought blessing, but evil altars erected to idols or demonic powers brought bo***ge, curses, and destruction. Even today, unseen altars may be raised against families, communities, and nations, fueling oppression, fear, and stagnation.

We must confront and destroy family altars, territorial altars, and every altar that speaks negativity and problems into our lives and as Christians we need to have: -

- *Spiritual discernment*: Evil altars are subtle yet powerful. Through prayer and the Word, believers discern and confront them.
- *Power of sacrifice*: Just as evil altars thrive on ungodly sacrifices, godly altars are established through worship, obedience, and surrender to Christ.
- *Authority in Christ*: By the blood of Jesus, every evil altar is silenced, and its decrees nullified.
- *Rebuilding godly altars*: When evil altars are destroyed, believers must raise altars of prayer, holiness, and thanksgiving to God.

Evil altars may manifest as generational curses, cycles of failure, or spiritual attacks. But God calls His people to demolish them and establish His altar in their lives. When you raise a godly altar, you invite His presence, power, and protection to reign over your household. Hallelujah!

Prayer for Tonight
Lord, I renounce every evil altar raised against me and my family. By the authority of Jesus Christ, I destroy their power and influence. Establish Your altar in my life, and let Your fire continually burn within me, in Jesus Christ name, Amen.
