WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT FROM REV. ESTHER MWALE

As we gathered today to remember our beloved Deaconess Violet Simwami Mukela on the first anniversary of her passing, Rev. Esther Mwale reminded the church that life is a journey that must be walked in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

While we journey through this life, we must always remember that a day is coming when each of us will answer God's call and be called into glory. Therefore, we should remain focused on Christ and not allow the challenges and difficulties of life to distract us from our faith and purpose.

No matter what we face, we must never lose track of our walk with God. Instead, let us continue doing good works for God and serving our communities with love, humility and dedication.

Rev. Esther Mwale encouraged the church and the family to the Late Deaconess Violet Simwami Mukela to give our lives fully to Christ, to hold firmly to the Great Commandment, to love God and love one another and to remain committed to the Great Commission of sharing the Gospel and making disciples.

As we remember the faithful life and service of Deaconess Violet Simwami Mukela, may her example inspire us to remain steadfast in our faith, faithful in our service, and committed to God's work until He calls us home.

"Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." (1 Corinthians 15:58)
