The African proverb "One who has people is richer than materials" states that people are more important than material things.
The proverb goes on to say that having wealth without love is pitiable, while having people but no wealth is better because people can help each other. Having both people and wealth is considered a blessing because people can help each other and give to others.

Comparing yourself to others can lead to feelings of inadequacy, low self-esteem, and a negative mindset.
Instead, you can focus on your own strengths, gratitude, and the experiences and relationships that are right in front of you.
