Seasonal Thanksgiving Message to the Family of Signs and Wonders Ministries
Beloved family in Christ,
As we walk through this special season, our hearts overflow with gratitude to God for His faithfulness, His sustaining grace, and His unfailing love toward us as a ministry. Truly, “This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes” (Psalm 118:23).
We thank God for every one of you—your prayers, your commitment, your sacrifices, and your unwavering support of the work of the Kingdom. Through every challenge and every victory, the Lord has proven Himself mighty among us. We have seen His hand in healings, breakthroughs, provision, restored lives, and growing faith. Indeed, Signs and Wonders have followed the preaching of His Word.
This season reminds us not only to celebrate what God has done, but also to reflect with thankful hearts. If we are standing today, it is because the Lord carried us. If we have moved forward, it is because His grace went before us. If we have overcome, it is because we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us.
As we give thanks, let us renew our devotion to God, our love for one another, and our commitment to His mission. May gratitude fuel our worship, strengthen our unity, and prepare us for greater things ahead. The same God who has brought us this far will surely take us further.
On behalf of the leadership, thank you for standing with us. Thank you for believing. Thank you for serving. Thank you for being a part of this God-ordained family.
May the Lord richly bless you and your households in this season and beyond.
With love and thanksgiving in Christ,
Peter Chanda

I believe Jesus is coming soon, but when we say "soon", I think we need to consider the biblical context. In Revelation 22:12, 22 Jesus says "I am coming quickly". This was written over 1,900 years ago, so when we say "soon" - In the biblical sense - "quickly" can mean a long time, certainly it could mean longer than your lifetime.
We should focus on being busy for God. We should be salt and light in the world, and let God use us to answer the prayer Jesus taught us to pray: "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven".
A Life of Purpose and Witnessing
I recall a conversation with a classmate 59 years ago, when I was 18 and just graduated from high school. I asked her if she was planning to attend college.
She replied, "No, Jesus is about to return!"
While I don't know the specifics of her life's journey, it's possible she may have wasted her life just waiting for Jesus' to return at any moment. I hope she didn't waste her time on earth God gave her.
As for me, I've been driven by a sense of purpose, following God's direction to become an attorney. I've used this platform to witness to judges, attorneys, clients, and many others from all walks of life including medical doctors who gave their heart to Christ.
I have written several books, including publishing a Christian magazine - Science & Scripture, two booklets. One of these booklets was translated into the Amharic language and distributed in Ethiopia, where it played a significant role in winning approximately a million souls to Christ according to an Ethiopian minister who flew to my home to tell me this news. Posted close to 75 articles, not only on my face book page but also on close to 200 group face book pages several which have millions of followers. Spoke at churches, science and law seminars, and University class on carbon 14 dating in light of the Noahtic flood, taught biology in public school rebutting evolution based on science.
I've also had the privilege of teaching at a Bible college with classroom full of ministers, as well as at our local university.
I believe in miracles, and that we should pray for the sick. My neighbor was dying of liver failure waiting on a liver transplant. I laid my hand on his liver area and told it to receive the healing virtue of Jesus Christ.
Notice, I did not pray for him. His hepatologist said to him, according to what he reported to me,
"A miracle has happened to you, you no longer need a liver transplant."
My neighbor went back to mowing yards for a living.

Yesterday, I was in court on four cases, but I took the opportunity to share the reality of Jesus with a fellow court attendee, who asked for my phone number to learn more.
My only intention in sharing my story is to encourage young people and anyone, regardless of age, to focus on the Father's business while they're on earth.
I'm committed to finishing my assignment for Jesus, rather than focusing on His return at any moment now.
I hope my experiences encourage you to make the most of the time you have before it slips away - to be about the Father's business and store up a lifetime of treasures in heaven.

One day Jesus visited a hospital with 5 wards with many patients and healed only one! John 5:1-3,5,8,13. When he was questioned about what he had done, he said"I only do what I see my father do"! Why? It is my conviction that we do not achieve much because we are bent to doing our own thing our own way! Do what the Father does and you will succeed! Have a blessed day!

Who says you are making Noise?

The following is an excerpt from "Through the Eyes of a Shepherd."
Q. What’s the difference between a noise and a sound?
A. It depends on who you are. To some, the cries of an infant are an annoyance—aka noise. To others, these same cries are the song of life.
The same can be said about the bawling and bashing that takes place around our farm just after feeding time. To an outsider (i.e., anyone besides our family), the sound of a few hundred ewes calling their lambs back to them, combined with the sound of almost twice as many lambs calling for “mom”—all at the same time is, well, annoying and loud. But to us, it’s a sound—a sweet sound of reuniting momma and babies.
Watching the lambs take refuge close to their mothers’ side; being welcomed by gentle motherly nudges and listening as stillness settles over the flock is reassuring and gives me a sense of peace.

This reassurance is the voice of God speaking to my heart, reminding me that no matter where I am, or how many of His children are crying out to Him at any given time, He hears me. And not only does He hear me, but He is personally interested in who I am, how I feel, and what I have to say. Each time I call out to Him I have welcomed into His presence with the knowledge that my voice is a sound He longs to hear. It is never an annoying noise. I also know without a doubt that He will always recognize my voice.

May I recognize His voice in the midst of the noise of this world!

“Ye have need of patience” — Hebrews 10:36

No one is born patient. Babies come out of the womb with no patience at all. What they want, they want it NOW. If they don’t get it immediately they will let you know loud and clear!
Patience does not come naturally. If patience was natural, why does God command us to “be patient” (1 Thess. 5:14; James 5:7)?
Patience is a virtue that must be developed over time. Peter tells us that patience is something we must “add” to our faith (2 Pet. 1:5-7). Paul tells us the trials help us to develop patience (Rom. 5:3). Patience is also part of the fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22-23). When you and I are impatient, it shows we are walking in the flesh and not the Spirit.
When find ourselves in the grip of impatience, it is time to cry out to the Lord and commit our situation into His capable hands. God may, or may not, immediately resolve the source of your impatience. It is often a process. We cannot pray, “Lord, I want patience, and I want it NOW!” As the words of the gospel song goes, at times He removes our mountains one stone at a time. If we will just be patient, we’ll notice our mountainous problem is getting smaller with time.
As James 1:4 says, “But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” Have a blessed day as you patiently await His blessings!
