The Lord has His ways, and men have their ways.

The ways of the Lord are what the Bible calls "the way of the righteous" and the ways of men are what it calls "the way of the ungodly."

The way of the righteous doesn't make sense, but it is a sure way.

The way of the ungodly makes sense, but it is designed to fail.

The ungodly laugh at the way of the righteous, but God is wise and has the final say.

Psalm 1:6, says, "For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish."

“Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward”

– 2 John 1:8

In John 15:16, Jesus said, “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain….” The souls we win and bring to church must remain—they should not be lost again. WE MUST FOLLOW UP ON THEM.

FOLLOW-UP IS ABOUT SHOWING GENUINE CARE FOR THE SOULS WE’VE WON and young Christians, being concerned for their welfare and nurturing their spiritual growth. The Bible emphasizes this responsibility in Acts 15:36, where it says, “And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do.”
In our opening Scripture, we see John the Apostle following up on the souls he has led to the Lord. His aim is to ensure that these people are established in the truth, SO THAT HE MAY RECEIVE a FULL REWARD FOR HIS LABOR.

FOLLOW-UP IS A VITAL PART OF THE GREAT COMMISSION that ensures that the souls won become the souls discipled, it includes calling people, writing to them, or visiting them to see how they are doing in the faith, see to it that they are established in the truth, and help them become committed Christians. Every Christian must be involved in this work.

PRAYER
Thank you, Father, for ordaining me to go and bring forth fruit and that my fruit should remain. I choose to function according to my ordination in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Topic: YOUR FRIENDS REFLECT YOU!

“I choose as my friends everyone who worships you and follows your teachings ” –– Psalm 119:63, CEV

Take a good, long look at the friends around you today, the same way a mirror reflects a man’s face, your kind of friends reflect the kind of person you are. If you choose bad friends, no one can believe you are a good person. “Good people are careful about choosing their friends, but evil people always choose the wrong ones.” (Proverbs 12:26 ERV).

Your friends either increase or decrease your wisdom. “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise…” (Proverbs 13:20a).

Your friends influence the kind of life you live. “… a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” (Proverbs 13:20b).

You are picking habits from your friends; I just hope they are good ones. Oh, wait! That depends on whether or not your friends are good friends. “Don’t make friends with people who have hot, violent tempers. You might learn their habits and not be able to change.” (Proverbs 22:24-25 GNT).

Every time you are in the wrong company, something good dies in you. ‘Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”’ ( 1 Corinthians 15:33 NIV).

If you don’t want to perish, “Leave the company of ignorant people, and live. Follow the way of knowledge.” (Proverbs 9:6 GNT)

Until you let go of certain friendships, you won’t fully obey the Lord. “Get out of my life, you evil-minded people, for I intend to obey the commands of my God.” (Psalm 119:115 NLT).

“To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.” Ephesians 1:6

Child of God, forget about curses, bad luck, and enemies prevailing against you, that's not your life anymore. In Christ, you have a higher life of blessings and favor.

Forget about the "spirit of rejection", condemnation and hopelessness, you are accepted in the beloved.

The word translated “accepted” in our opening Scripture is the Greek, “charitoō” which also means to be HIGHLY FAVORED.

Child of God, you are not just favored, you are HIGHLY FAVORED. However, for this favor to work, you’ve got to be conscious of it.

Acknowledge that it is causing you to be accepted where you would ordinarily be rejected.

Imagine it bringing you help and helpers from everywhere.

See it causing all your efforts to produce favorable results.

Picture it shielding you from the wickedness, pride and ill treatments of others.

CONFESSION
I am blessed and highly favored! I am too blessed to fail. Too favored to be defeated.

While you are thinking of one way it can happen, God has a thousand ways.

A thousand ways to get you to your next level.

A thousand ways to get that supply to you.

A thousand ways to get that miracle to you.

"..He HAS A THOUSAND WAYS TO SET YOU FREE!" (Psalm 130:7 TPT).

When you are thinking that you are out of options, He has a thousand more.

When you can't see a way out, He can see a thousand ways.

When you feel the situation is completely hopeless, He has a thousand ways of turning it around.

Trust Him.
Believe in His word.
Keep your eyes on Him.
He won't fail you.
