ZAMBIA VOTES 2026

POST ELECTION
Today Zambians are voting. If you had taken time to pray for the elections, then your victory is NOT in your preferred candidate winning but in the will of God prevailing even over your will. So consider the following:

ACCEPT GOD’S WILL IN THE ELECTIONS
Isaiah 55:8,9
8. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Matthew 26:39
And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying,
O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as you will.

PRAY FOR THE WINNING CANDIDATE/S

Consider the following scriptures:
1Timothy 2:1-3
1. I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2. For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

Pray that:
*God will turn the Hearts of the People to the Leader
*God will empower them to succeed
Remember that in Zambia’s Peace/Prosperity, we have our Peace/Prosperity

Jeremiah 29:7
And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.

*They will continue to build on Zambia’s rich spiritual heritage.

Proverbs 22:28
Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.

The major spiritual heritage is the fact that is a Christian Nation. The actualization of this landmark lies in the hands of the church in Zambia but we continue to make the mistake of shifting the responsibility onto the politicians.
Consider how this landmark is entrenched in the foundation of our nation:
* David Livingstone prayed that God would make this land a Christian Nation, long before Zambia was born.
* Post independence all republican presidents have either recognized that Zambia is a Christian Nation or recognized the supremacy of God in one way or the other.
* Our prayer is that whoever takes the highest office in the nation will not shift the nation away from this rich heritage.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD,The people He has chosen as His own inheritance. Psalm 33:12

INTRODUCTION
Zambians, we are almost there. Tomorrow, we go to the polls but we still continue to mention our great nation before the throne of grace.

Today consider the following as you take time to pray:

7. LET THE PEACE OF GOD REIGN IN ZAMBIA & OUR HEARTS
Pray from the following scriptures, among others:

- Jesus the Prince of Peace
Isaiah 9:6, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace”

-Unless the Lord watches
Psalm 127:1, “Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”

-God neither sleeps nor slumbers
Psa_121:4, “Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor slumber.”

-Be a Peace Maker
Mathew 5:9, “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God”

-God’s Peace Keep our hearts & minds through Jesus.
Philippians 4:6, “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

-Php 4:7, “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

ZAMBIA VOTES 2026

INTRODUCTION
Hello Zambians. It’s 2 Days until the elections on Thursday 13th August 2026. Let’s continue adding our voice to the many other voices petitioning the throne of grace over our nation & the elections.

Today consider the following as you take time to pray:

5. PRAY THAT GOD WILL FRUSTRATE EVERY HIDDEN SCHEME
Isa 7:5, “Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying,”

Isa 7:6, “Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal:”

Isa 7:7, “Thus saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.”

Job 5:12, “He frustrates the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise”

Declare that any hidden schemes being plotted which are against the desire of God for the nation shall be frustrated. Declare that they shall not succeed nor come to pass in Jesus’ Mighty Name.

6.LET THE BLOOD OF JESUS SPEAK GOOD OVER ZAMBIA
Gen 4:10, “And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.”

Gen 4:11, “And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;”

Hebrews 12:24, “And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”

Pray for the LORD’s forgiveness over every innocent blood shed in the nation. Silence every negative voice that the shed blood is speaking against the nation and its people. Let the voice in the blood of Jesus speak good things over the land of Zambia. Nullify any wicked activity taking place on demonic altars which is intended to influence the outcome of the elections.

ZAMBIA VOTES 2026

INTRODUCTION
Hello Zambians. Like I said earlier, by now most of you have decided which way you will vote or who you are to support.

However please continue to consider some very critical matters and commit them to the LORD in prayer before and after the elections.

3. PROMOTION COMES FROM GOD
Psalm 75:5 “Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.”

Psalm 75:6 “For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.”

Psa 75:7 “But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.”

Pray that the LORD will promote the person He has deemed to be fit for the divine destiny of Zambia.
Let everyone who is not ordained by God be vomited in the Name of Jesus.

4. THEY HAVE DENIED ME
1Samuel 8:7 “And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.”

When the Israelites persisted to have a king, contrary to the will of God, God allowed them to have what they wanted. History tells us the problems that the nation went through when they got King Saul.

Let us humbly ask the Lord to give us the person He Himself has endorsed for this season. Let us NOT insist on our personal preferences.

ZAMBIA VOTES 2026

INTRODUCTION
Hello Zambians. It’s 3 Days before elections on Thursday 13th August 2026. By now most of you have decided which way you will vote or who you are supporting.
However here are some very critical points to consider before and after the elections. Draw some prayer points from these reflections so as to show our dependency on the all-knowing God during this important season for the destiny of Mother Zambia

1.YOU CAN MISS IT
Samuel, a true prophet of God missed it when God sent him to anoint one of the sons of Jesse as King. There are qualities inside a man which only God can see. Therefore submit your preferences and bias to the omniscient God.

1Sa 16:1 - 13
1Sa 16:6, "And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD'S anointed is before him."

1Sa 16:7, "But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart."

2.GOD RULES IN MAN’S AFFAIRS
Belteshazzar, son of Nebuchadnezzar, thought that he had risen through his own ability, but God proved him wrong until he humbled himself before the mighty hand of God.
Ask for the mind of God to prevail over the affairs of Zambia during these elections. Let Jehovah rule in the affairs of our nation.

Daniel 5:21, "And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will."

Acts 1:24, "And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen, ……………"

Pray that God’s choice will prevail over our personal preferences and choices because only He knows the hearts of all men.
