Youths from Kitwe-Luanshya Apostle Area of the New Apostolic Church Zambia, today conducted educational tours of the National Assembly of Zambia and the NAC28 TV Studios in Lusaka, as part of their itinerary en route to the International Youth Fellowship (IYF) 2026 in Harare, Zimbabwe.
The delegation, led by Apostle Area Youth Coordinator Shepherd Richard Sakaumba, commenced its programme with a morning educational tour of the National Assembly Buildings. During the tour, the youths received instruction on the functions, history, and operations of Zambia’s legislature. They also viewed the Chamber where the Honourable Speaker and Members of Parliament conduct parliamentary sittings. The tour was guided by Mr. Temwa Sunday Nyirenda, Deputy Director – International Relations, and Ms. Chomba from National Assembly Management.
Following the visit to Parliament, the delegation proceeded to the NAC28 TV Studios in Longacres. The tour marks the first time a youth group has visited the Church’s media facility since its official opening by District Apostle Kububa Soko, and the subsequent visit by Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider and his Helper, Chief Apostle Helper Helge Mutschler, in February 2026.
The tour of the state-of-the-art studios was facilitated by Priest Ngosa, Sister Patience Fwalanga, and Brother Steven, who explained the role of media in supporting the mission of the New Apostolic Church.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Shepherd Sakaumba expressed gratitude to both the National Assembly and NAC28 TV Management for accommodating the youths. “This experience has been both educational and spiritually enriching. Our youths have gained valuable insights into civic responsibility and the use of modern media in spreading the gospel,” Shepherd Sakaumba said.
