LEAD APOSTLE YAVWA CONDUCTS A DIVINE SERVICE WITH HOLY SEALING AT MISESHI CONGREGATION

The Lead Apostle, Yakomba Yavwa, conducted a Sunday Divine Service with Holy Sealing at Miseshi Congregation in the Kitwe South West Rector District under the care of District Rector Jonathan S. Nyondo.

The Lead Apostle was accompanied by Bishop Shem Samalela District Rector Henry Aongola and Assistant District Rector Steven Kafunda. Also in his entourage were the host, District Rector Jonathan S. Nyondo, Assistant District Rector Justine Kabungo, as well as the local ministers.

Theme: Apostolicity

Text Word: 2 Corinthians 5:20

_“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.”_

Message:

Apostolicity is an identifying characteristic of the Church of Christ.

The congregation was reminded of the importance of apostolicity as a fundamental characteristic of the Church and the responsibility of believers to remain faithful to Christ.
The Lead Apostle explained the role and significance of the Apostle ministry in the plan of salvation. He emphasized that even during dark ages when all the early Christian Apostles had died, nicaen council in 325 AD and also Constantinople council upheld the teaching of the Apostles thus confirming Apostolicity in the church of Christ.

Special Acts:

A total of 85 members received the Holy Sealing, receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit through the sacrament.

The Lead Apostle also bestowed Ruby Wedding Anniversary blessings upon Shepherd Weby Mwangala and Sister Mwangala, marking their special milestone of marriage.

The Divine Service was attended by a total of 541 members.

Overview
The Kitwe–Luanshya Apostle Area Music Leadership successfully hosted a two-day music camp at Luanshya Girls Secondary School under the inspiring theme “Growing in Excellence through Music Ministry.” Guided by the vision of One Voice, One Orchestra, One Mission, the camp emphasized musical excellence, unity among choir members, and spiritual growth through ministry.

As an annual program, anticipation is already building for the next camp in Kalulushi 2027.

KITWE-LUANSHYA APOSTLE AREA HOLDS MEDIA WORKSHOP AT MISESHI CONGREGATION

Media personnel from across the Kitwe-Luanshya Apostle Area yesterday gathered at Miseshi Congregation in Kitwe South West Rector District for a media workshop aimed at enhancing their knowledge, skills, and effectiveness in carrying out media responsibilities within the Church.

The workshop was chaired by the Apostle Area Media Coordinator, Priest Lazarous Zangata, and was attended by 18 media personnel drawn from the Kitwe, Luanshya, and Kalulushi Zones.

Participants received presentations on several key topics designed to strengthen professionalism and improve the quality of media work. The topics covered included:

1. Media Ethics
2. Effective Communication in Public Relations and Journalism
3. Photography and Videography in Church
4. News Writing and Reporting
5. Question-and-Answer Session

The workshop was characterised by a highly interactive atmosphere, with participants actively engaging in discussions, asking questions, and sharing practical experiences relating to media operations and journalism within the Church. The practical demonstrations and group discussions further enriched the learning experience and encouraged collaboration among media personnel.

Although attendance was lower than anticipated, the workshop proceeded as planned, with all scheduled presentations successfully delivered. The objectives of the workshop were fully achieved, leaving participants better equipped to serve in their respective media roles.

District Apostle Kububa Soko Arrives on the Copperbelt for Scheduled Visit

District Apostle Kububa Soko has arrived on the Copperbelt for his scheduled pastoral visit to Kitwe-Luanshya and Chingola-Mufulira Apostle Areas Respectively.

During his visit, he will conduct a Divine Service with Dedication at Matelo Congregation at 10:00 hours in Chingola on Saturday 25th July 2026 before concluding his visit he will conduct another Divine Service with Dedication On Sunday 26th July 2026 at Kamakonde Congregation at 09:00 hours under Mugala Rector District, where believers will gather to receive God’s word and blessings on this special occasion.

The District Apostle touched down 12:20 hours at Simon Mwansa Kampwepwe International Airport in Ndola Zambia 🇿🇲.

The visit is anticipated with great joy by ministers and members across the two Apostle Areas as they prepare to welcome the District Apostle and participate in the Divine Services.

Both Services will be Transmitted Live on Topstar.
