VILLAGE IMPACT FOR CHRIST IN AFRICA
TAKING THE ARK OF GOD AROUND THE NATION
1CHRO 13:1-4, Matthew 28:19
This is an evangelistic association or ministry made up of Christians from different denominations who desire to take the ark of God across the nations of Africa. We focus on reaching the unreached with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and giving hope to the Hopeless. Previously, it used to b

e called the Village ministry Pentecostal movement. But because we noticed that we have other responsibilities within the cities, hence the change of the name. Zambia is a Christian and developing nation with a reasonable population. However, many people are underprivileged and are dancing to the tune of hunger, poverty, diseases, and illiteracy. As if that is not enough, those living in villages do not have access to a good road network, education, good water supply, electricity, hospitals, and many more to mention but a few. If any of the above is found, people have to walk long distances to access them. Worse still, many villagers have perished and some continue to live under total darkness. It is not that they are rebellious or they do not want to know the truth. But there is no one to tell them of the good news (Romans 10:14) How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of who they have not heard? Hear rises a challenge beloved who shall send them. As we all know that Zambia is a Christian nation and people have access to the gospel 24/7 in 365 days on both radio and television some go to nearby churches in urban areas. This is not so for those who are living in typical villages. Because of the hardships mentioned in the preceding chapter, preachers called fear to go to these places leading to the destruction of people living in the villages. God has appointed us to be watchmen over his people in this nation and the nations across Africa. (Ezekiel 31:1-9) For this reason, I invite believers if it seems good and of the Lord that we preach to the poor. (Acts 4:34-37, 5:12-16, 2 Cor 11:8&9) Let the church come back to its origin when it was with one purpose, to make known Jesus to all. When King David saw that the Ark of the covenant was not in the land, he consulted with the captains of thousands and hundreds and with every leader and said, “If it seems good unto you and that it be of the Lord our God let us send abroad unto our brethren everywhere in all the land of Israel…that they may gather themselves unto us and let us bring again the ark of our God to us for we inquired not of it in the days of Saul. (1 Chron 13:1-4) It is in this line that I encourage those who feel that it is a noble cause for us to preach the gospel to those who are neglected by society. In July 1995 I went to visit my grandmother in the village after I had given my life while at school. It was during this visit that I attended a church service at a church where my grandmother was a member. It was a sad thing for me to see that even the man who was in charge of that church did not know the truth. I began to develop a burden on the people living in the villages. In 2001 I went back to the village but the night I was going back to Kitwe, God spoke to me that I needed to God and preach to the lost souls in the villages around our nation. However, in 2003 I joined the mines in preparation to undertake the task, trying to establish a strong base for my family and the ministry. In December 2015, I decided to stop work to equip myself with the necessary theological education. I have shared this with my brothers and sisters who feel it is a noble task that we should undertake. We extend our invitation to the body of Christ to Join us. OBJECTIVES

SPONSORSHIP AND PARTNERSHIP

We do not only want to share the gospel with the villagers and the less privileged but we want to show them the love and care that God has for them. This can only be possible if we can also meet their physical needs. Love is demonstrated by giving and caring for the needy. The early church had all things in common which made them win more souls. This shall be made possible by the help of well-wishers and partners. The ministry shall be sponsored by interested persons, organizations, and companies. It shall also run businesses that will help in the smoothy running of administrative purposes. Our partners are not restricted to a certain of money or what to give. They can give anything ranging from food, clothes, kitchen utensils, or anything that can be used by one for various needs. Our partners and sponsors are free to accompany the rescue team to see the work taking place. Those who are not able to come physically can request a video to see what is happening. This shall enable transparency.
