SUNDAY SERVICE REPORT
St Paul's Anglican Parish – Kitwe
Today's Sunday service was graciously led by Rt Rev'd Fr John Kafwanka, Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Northern Zambia, who was accompanied by Mama Bishop, The Ven. Rev'd Fr Mutati (Archdeacon), Rev'd Fr Crossbery Katongo, and was hosted by Rev'd Fr Harry Sakapaji together with Ordinand Thomas Mbewe.
The service brought together Lay Ministers from across the Northern Diocese as they gathered at St Paul's Anglican Parish Kitwe, a Centre of Transformation, to renew their vows of faithful service to God and His Church.
In his inspiring sermon, Bishop John Kafwanka emphasized the importance of gratitude to God. He reminded the congregation that when God remembers us or blesses us, it is not because we are more intelligent, stronger, or better than others, but purely by His grace and for His glory.
He encouraged everyone to cultivate hearts of thanksgiving, recognizing that every blessing, opportunity, and achievement comes from God. As believers, we are called to remain humble, faithful, and continually grateful for His unfailing love and abundant blessings.
"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever."
May today's message inspire us to live lives marked by gratitude, humility, and faithful service to God.
