Dear young lady, sister dear
Be careful not to love a man who is willing to let go of everything, even God, in the name of proving you are his world. Honestly, how can you trust a man who tells you that you are his oxygen when he is disconnected from God, the very source of the oxygen he breathes? Men, take note when it comes to love.
A perfect example is Adam. Did you know that while Eve ate the fruit to become wiser, to gain knowledge and be like God, Adam ate it simply because he loved Eve? Genesis 3 implies that. Jesus says, "If you love me, keep my commandments," meaning that love for God is shown through obedience. Yet in the text, Adam obeyed the voice of his wife more than God. In essence, he loved Eve more than God.
This is not a lack of love in Adam’s heart. The issue was to whom that love was directed. Adam misdirected his love from God, the Creator, to Eve, a created being.
That is why I say, sister dear, never marry a man who is willing to let go of everything, including God. If he can let go of God, what makes you think he can keep your heart? Some people are not trustworthy. You can trust a man who gives you his bank account to keep you, not a man who lets go of God to keep you.
And just a bonus for men before I put the pen down. Never love a woman who can spend more time with a serpent than with you and is willing to taste the fruit at the expense of losing God. Simply put, never marry a fallen Eve. 🤣🤣🤣
