5 reasons to Attend youth meetings
1. Spiritual growth
While church services lead to members growing, they can only go as far as what the preacher has preached. Youth meetings is the place you get to check yourself. You interact with other individuals, ask questions and learn from each other. Remember, iron sharpens iron. Prov. 27:17
2. Standing
Yes, you can stand in faith alone just you and Jesus in your bedroom, but you can only go so far. Youth meetings offer a family that is a pillar in your life. You can feel like falling away here and there but they won't let you if you let them in. They'll love you and push you. You know why? Christ manifests himself to us indirectly through people. Eccl 4:9-12
3. Fellowship
Church will always feel like a strange place if it's only a place you walk into on Sunday for 2hrs and leave. It'll just be an institution, just another place in your program. It is when you start attending fellowship meetings like youth meetings that you find true fellowship and home. Church is home. Eph 2:19
4. You'll have fun
Youth meetings are a place you meet with your peers. You're facing the same struggles, same excitement, same zeal, same doubts...there's much in common. So you might interact easily. You might have games, food, interesting topics, asks any kind of question (you don't have elders and deacons there😅)
5. You might find your spouse there
Not one but many people met their spouses during fellowship meetings like these. You just keep crushing on a girl for two hours every Sunday😅. You might find her at the youth meeting and know her beyond her looks 😁. A youth meeting provides you the opportunity to make life time friends of which one could turn out to be your future spouse.
