Public Campus Ministry (PCM) constitutes one of the five levels of Adventist Youth Ministries (AYM) and was previously under Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries (ACM). PCM's objective is to inspire, educate, equip, and empower Adventists to spread the everlasting gospel on campus while fostering leadership development among students. It also prepares them to confront intellectual challenges and fosters Christian fellowship among students and staff.
PCM's focus encompasses outreach, mission, service, and witnessing on campus, in the church, in the community, and globally. Unlike Ambassadors and Young Adults Ministries, PCM is a specialized ministry tailored for individuals aged 16 to 30+. Currently, there isn't a standardized uniform for PCM in SID.
PCM actively participates in events like Global Youth Day (GYD), the Youth Week of Prayers in March, and the eWeek of Prayers in November annually. While secondary school students are encouraged to join Pathfinder and Ambassador Ministries, PCM primarily targets students in public campuses, staff members, and working individuals.
PCM's unique feature is its inclusive membership approach, encompassing individuals from Ambassadors (16-21) to Young Adults (22-30) and even those above 30, known as "Madalas." The ministry emphasizes the Three Cs: Church, Campus, and Community.
